1 -Good Morning

Finally a day off! Yesterday was crazy but it was nice to go back & read the posts. I'm not sure why I bother with new juice vendors. I basically had 1 before I tried The vape Tree - happy I got to try his juice cuz I got to add him to my list!

I doubt I'll be venturing out again in the near future --learned my lesson

Forgot to mention this yesterday; revisiting the conversation about rebuilding kanger heads...with my new reading glasses perched atop my nose, I got down to the business at hand and did a few coils. So much easier now that I could see! The results, however, were quite strange...ohm readings much higher than I was going for. One was at 4.1 and a couple in the mid 3 area. I thought I read that 5 wraps of 32 gauge around 3mm silica would get me close to where I wanted - not sure what happened. Can/should I still use these coils with the high ohm reading?

This is what I was going for (mine don't look quite as pretty)...

Thanks tiggerrts...I'll try four wraps next time. So the longer the leads going down to the post makes for higher ohms?

4: I go four wraps and hit close to 2.2, remember that the leads going down to the post also increase the length and therefore the resistance. Companies use a method where the leads are non resistant and only the coils around the wick have resistance.

Oy vey, coffee needs to kick in.

missed the Bill Nye vs. Creationism debate. Hope to catch it later tonight.

Made some significant progress for my annual music festival. LIBERATION!
You may remember from last year the success of southern AZs biggest electronic music festival. This year, were going at least 50% bigger. Last year we had over 1,200 attendees and 80+ staff.
To accomplish this we need bigger name DJs, and a lot more money.

Last night i secured a BIG happyhardcore veteran dj from california that hasnt played AZ in many years. a MR. Paulina Taylor!!
Along with a very prestigious socal dj - DJ EN3RGY!!

Immediately afterwards, I was able to set a meeting with a potential (and likely) NEW investor that will help bankroll a portion of the event.
I am asking for a ridiculous amount of money, to which he responds is no problem and asks how soon we need it. He is coming over tonight, leaving me little time to draw the contract, however we have a week before we would need to make any kind of exchange.
If we can secure this initial financing, it will alleviate a huge stressful effort and will make the show run smooth from the gate!

Quite happy with the progression!! Show is June 7th.

02/05 Entry #5 . . .

NOT ANYMORE - If People coming to "My" place don't like it or think it is dirty - THEY KNOW WHERE THE DOOR IS AND CAN USE IT . . . ;)
Thats what i thought you'd say :)

legs raise ohm, but most likely your coil is too wide. try tightening the coil as you wrap around a single piece of 3mm silica. or drop down to 2mm. The closer the coils are to eachother and the smaller the coil diameter the lower the ohm. For a protank head, id shoot for under 2ohm

I'd bet I made my coils to 'loose'...I will try tightening them up. Thanks for the input!
