#2 No coffee = no good. I had no propane when I woke up to this rather cold morning. It's just 24 degrees, nothing compared to many of you, but I was hoping for coffee before dealing with the outdoors. I hope yours was better!

vaping Dragon's Claw mixed with Tangerine Dream, pretty tasty. If it was a battle, the Tangerine Dream is the strongest.

any instant flavor crystals?
i dont have any either, but i always regret not being prepared when the maker or a related accessory breaks.
and i LOVE mixing the tangerine! Great with the DragonClaw, BlueberryBerry and the Mango Smoothie!!
I enjoy creating a balance of one of the aforementioned flavors with the tangerine in a dripper. Amazing combination!

Oy vey, coffee needs to kick in.

missed the Bill Nye vs. Creationism debate. Hope to catch it later tonight.

legs raise ohm, but most likely your coil is too wide. try tightening the coil as you wrap around a single piece of 3mm silica. or drop down to 2mm. The closer the coils are to eachother and the smaller the coil diameter the lower the ohm. For a protank head, id shoot for under 2ohm

1- Morning all, glad I canceled my one appointment for the day just was not feeling physical therapy today, I can tell we have bad weather coming in , and that place on seems to make it hurt worse..
LD, not too much missed on the debate, but I will let you take a look and see what you think yourself, we are friends on FB so you know most likely how I feel already ;)
I have not re wrapped a pro coil yet, but from doing RDA's yes the tighter your coils are the less resistance there is, as well as the length of the leads heading down.
Now a great thought of mine is to use the nichrome wire that I have used a couple of times on my coils, and have tons from my hotwire cutting tool.

Greetings Tree Folks!

In the last hour, USPS finally scanned my Express package that was guaranteed delivery yesterday. That's three Express packages in a month--at least they refund the postage. That's essentially $60 USPS has needed to refund because of their incompetence in a matter of four weeks (and, of course, they refund it to the sender, not the receiver--the receiver is the one actually inconvenienced). The funny thing is that a regular Priority package was sent to me on the same day as the Express package, and it arrived in Puerto Rico a day earlier. The lesson, which I should have learned the last time this happened, is that USPS can't be relied on for things that are really important. Unfortunately, all the other shipping options consider PR to be international (which would annoy me, but they treat Hawaii and Alaska the same way), and it's not very affordable.

Okay, I'm done complaining about USPS today. I think I mentioned a few days ago that I've been doing some serious shopping (I came into a bit of money!), and I am expecting about ten packages over the next few days. I'll try to refrain from complaining about USPS if possible (but that might be really hard to do!).

I use a 4-40 machine screw to wrap my coils.I give 4 wraps and come out with about 1.8-2 ohms using 32 gauge. If'n ya want even tighter coils use a 4-48 machine screw.Coils are perfect and you can screw it back on and un-screw it from the screw to add or remove a coil.I also heat them again once they are on the screw coiled to help hold the coil shape.Once off the screw you can add your cotton, silica or whatever and then squeeze them closer by putting them on a nail, drill rod or what ever you use if you need to get the coils closer together and then you can use it to drop into the slots on the head. Just a thought.

2- One things to remember about the USPS, it is the one part of the government that can not do anything without congress approving it, but they receive no taxes. They would love to be able to do live shipping updates anywhere, but congress will not approve the equipment or the 1-2 cent increase in prices that would happen to cover the gear.

#3 Shipping woes continued:
I just got back from the post office. Living in BFE, my local post office often has only one worker to serve customers. Once again, it was the local "Postmaster". She was on her mobile phone having an obviously personal conversation, leaving me waiting 2-3 minutes to ask a question after getting one of my packages weighed, scanned, and postage paid. The place was empty when I arrived, 2 customers were waiting when I left. I just hope she pulled off the multitasking correctly.
Packages from China:
One tracking number still does not work, sent 1/20.
Another tracking number says it arrived in USA ("local mail tracking"), but USPS does not track it. MIA once again. Sent 1/7.

Coils: I primarily use microcoils, which I torch while squeezing before inserting cotton. I don't like keeping track of juice levels in a dripper so I usually use silica, sometimes a microcoil, sometimes a sewing needles with the wick while wrapping. Same goes for Protank heads, slightly unraveled/loosened 3mm silica works best for me. While I like the taste of cotton better than silica, cotton gets gunked up much, much faster, especially in a small space like a Protank head.

Non-entry:

Re: FaceBook: Some of you may have "friend"ed me but I don't recognize your FB name. Apologies if I seem aloof. If I tag you too much, please say so. I've been trying to help folks find stuff I think they might be interested in, but I could easily be wrong. I have to mention that here since only half the names are the same between FB and ECF.

As someone else mentioned, if you use FB please give our wonderful host a like on his Vape Tree page. :)

4- So true Schnarph, folks such as myself have have a FB page from way before ECF, and have names that are not our ECF names. And yes I love to both like his page, and lead people into trying his juice, if they are PG sensitive, or just have not found good juice, it is almost always a sure bet to have them try some tree juice, so far have a 100% like rate with it :).
And TBH I never thought I would like it myself, then I tried it and well, it is one of my ADV's.

All good ideas for coil building...I'm off to the races now! Think the main thing I did wrong was making my loops too wide around the silica, but it can't hurt to use a bit/screw to help.

I use a T-pin, to stabilize the wick while I wrap the wire around it. I cut the wick just a very little bit longer than the T-pin, and can get three at a time comfortably. Cut them apart then of course trim them once they are put back into the base.
