1- Might just be that they find it harder to tax, or fall in the "oh it's poison" crowd. Aggravating to say the least but then again most government is.

Just a thought here... but how does making a nicotine liquid illegal and not making tobacco illegal make any sense? I was recently notified that a particular country has made e-liquid with nicotine in it illegal, yet I know tobacco is still legal in that country. It seems as if the government wants their people to use tobacco, and not a safer alternative.

I have never burned a tree unless it was for heat and/or cooking. I have cut many, many dead and poorly placed trees down, it's inevitable unless you live in a desert. For the past few years they are or have been reclaimed by nature without my help unless I needed what they give. "Natural" carbon reclamation of their material has been very inconvenient and I hope it has been worth the hassle. I just wish the chipper was still working, especially for the juniper (often called "cedar"). I could really use some more mulch for the pathways, although oak wilt has made the whole reclamation process extremely inconvenient.

Someday I'll post a pic of the trench all the cut trees are in, although it's kind of depressing compared to all the pics of lovely flora in this thread. Here's something pretty cool, in the flesh...
