#3 My dog doesn't care about fireworks unless I do. A heavy thunderstorm gets him a little nervous but not enough to need a thunder shirt. If I say "what's that?" or "woof, woof" he starts barking. He also howls if I do, but not at any other time. Talkative, but only when spoken to... or when he sees a cat walk by, of course. I'm hoping for a quiet night around here, free of wildfires and barking dog(s).

2- Funny LD, sort of the way that I am thinking, but first me and the wife are going to finish off our GI bill's and I will also be using my disabled combat vet school credits. I am a tech guy and will be using that, and we are also wanting to get a good sized plot of land to start some aqua phonics for both our own food, and hopefully supply some pure organic foods for the community as well.
Thats incredible. Kudos, realizing that it was a long, difficult road, i commend you on making a solid, and beneficial plan for your family. in addition, i love to garden. We finally have a house with a large yard in which i plan to plat many veggies in february (we have to start early in the desert).
It seems you have it well figured out. i hope to get a firm foundation for my fam, and i believe to do so i must exhibit a new found level of ambition, ingenuity, and passionate dedication to a new, and promising endeavor.

I feel the franchise, while the least exciting of the two, is the safest and easiest to get going.
My tech idea has some serious obstacles, the largest obstacle being that the program is centered around a concept that could be construed as gambling. Due to the possible complications involved in each states gambling/lottery laws, it may be a painstaking process to launch a program that may not be legal in all 50 states. This company, has potential to have an impressive income stream. My current hurdle is finding a law firm that specializes in tech/patent/entertainment/gambling/lottery law across the states. I havent been able to locate one locally. The lawyer finder websites offer no help. They are geared towards one inquiry, not multiple

hmm.... more than i intended to type. somewhat vague, but i intentionally use discretion.
the first franchise i have researched, little ceasers.

#4 One year ago today, I had my last intentional cigarette after 1+ PAD for 20+ years. A couple of weeks later my poopy cigalike kit bit the dust and I had to wait for an Ego stater kit to come in the mail. I smoked just under a pack while the replacement was in the mail. I'm really wishing I had marked the date of my last smoke, I'm guesstimating February 1st to be on the safe side. Regardless, a year ago today I decided to quit smoking... that counts for something!

Cheers to positive resolutions, vaping, etc. :toast: Whatever you all are doing, keep it up!

Whoo hoo!!!

Congrats on a year clean and serene? wait, wrong group. :)
I still, shamefully, not really, have a smoke here and there.
Usually its when i am out drinking. I dont mind here and there, its quite rare, and im not gonna lie, i usually enjoy it.
But since hitting the hospital on Levis delivery date, i havent bought or possessed any 'bacco. (i often use this latter sentiment when discussing my abrupt abdication of cigarettes, and conversion to #V4L)

my sony 30a just heated up like crazy. just switchin tanks. what happened?
short, where?
Check for a split or scratch on the battery casing, if the battery is upside down you'd be in for serious trouble. If that's on your new Nemesis, you definitely need to take a look at the switch, do what jpf said regarding screwing down the switch contact pin. With no atty attached, it shouldn't do anything even with the firing button depressed... unless your battery has a scratch on the side allowing contact with the tube while inserted upside down. If the battery got really hot, it's not going to be safe to use anymore. Danger Will Robinson, Danger!

I'm glad you're not hurt, it sounds like you came close to a runaway battery.

Edit: I have 2 ShortStops, both are on their last legs. They say to replace every 6 months, that time has passed. I'm lucky to get two amps through them before they cut off. I prefer the Kick 2 if and when I can use it, otherwise a VV/VW device, almost all have built in safety to some degree. I'm eagerly awaiting DNA20 boards to come back in stock...

I think it was a short in the fogger, or a poor contact.
come to think of it, if the center pin for the 510 connection is not tight against the atty (not making full contact) could this cause the battery to heat up?
if so, i think this was the case as i had just lazily adjusted the 510 on the fogger, but not on the Nem.

5 minutes until freedom. i have tmw off, this is nice :)

Have a great and safe new years!!

Are you aware of the dangers involved in using the Fogger? The center pin can touch the outside (negative) if not insulated, or screw in too far and also cause a short. Similar problems can happen on the inside where you can't even see it. It's not one of the safer atty's available, but when it works it's pretty nice. Most folks pull out the adjustable center pin, put a little o-ring in there, and screw in the center pin afterwards. If you don't have any o-rings that small, you can snip a ring shape off of a Protank insulator/grommet or AGA-T center post grommet. The Fogger is known to have this issue, although I can't blame anyone that didn't read all 100+ pages about it. There are some hardcore modifications here, the one I referred to is in there near the OP, second post. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ms/480183-fogger-v2-performance-upgrades.html

3- Thanks guys, me and the wife have a plan and although the big unknown right now is when I will be getting out, we have plans A though H on how to move forward with what we are given.
We are looking at plots from 50 acres on the small side to over 1k, depends on what we are able to find in the area, either way we will have our house a ways from the road, and have 1-2 cows, 1 milker and 1 to raise for slaughter. All done organic as well as raising our food and more meat though fish and chickens.
I just guess for us it is doing our dreams.

4- Wow everyone drinking that much that is on here?? :toast: Not even that late here, never mind the East coast. Got to drilling out my E-bay RDA, made it a tick too large, but that is an easy fix with a little epoxy, might even make a adjuster for it out of either some CF or a fiberglass/CF mix. Also giving some serious thought about making my own CF mod :). Just trying to figure out how I want to power the beast.. Done right I think some sort of framed box mod, frame on the inside, with most likely a square Lipo in it, still a mech mod though, all cables and a mech switch, although magnetic is sounding good as well.
Still just in the thought and drawing out rough drafts in CAD. It would have to take my abuse at least as good as my SB's although I know I would not be going to war with them, I still spend time out in fields, and the drop when doing things can be brutal at times. Steel parts all around, and capable of handling the lowest ohm attys.
