#4 Brass Nemesis came today. Cleaned the threads, No-ox-id applied... hits like the train engraving on the bottom. 
On a whim, I tried a 5 ohm RDA coil to see what would happen... NOT doing that again. My throat still hates me.

1- Hi all, what a day, and the cold is moving in tonight hard, single digits here with sub zero wind chills. They have canceled school for tomorrow so the daughter is happy about that. Down side is my chiropractic was can-xed for tomorrow as well...

Was trying for the last 3 days to rebook the venue i used for my halloween party. It has been used once since then, 10 days ago, by a promoter i dont much like. Speaking with a trasnlator, the owner raised the price by $1000 because he didnt like the way they threw the last show and the prevalence of underage drinking. Understanding, and this took some spanish convincing, that i (and my company) were uninvolved in that show, he agreed to let me use, but for $1000 more...... This makes the place unaffordable. It was $750 originally, and i'd happily pay up to a grand. but 1750 is crazy. I can get much larger venues for that, but not on short notice.
I decided on a final offer of $1200. Cross your fingers, i hope he agrees.
did i mention how much i now despise this other promoter..... he screwed up my venue, which screws with my company and my money......
rant far from over. typing just makes me mad.
im not gonna let it get to me.. not much that can be done....

gotta say, im sold on it.
I havent looked on the slowboat sites, hopefully it is crazy affordable
with most gear, im in no rush

Don't take my word for it. Check YouTube for reviews, that's what I did. Price is also a big issue, of course...

A 5 ohm coil would take some serious batteries before it was harsh.
I could probably handle a 0.5 ohm dual coil just fine, but that's different.
