Just took a look at the phoon forecast. It's gotten stronger than they thought it would - is now classified as a super typhoon. Will weaken some by the time it gets here on Tue but winds will still be kickin a bit.

Hang on to your hat!

Speaking of lottery tickets, there is a pile of tickets that my friend's dad has purchased. It's not the most pressing concern, but sometime this week I'll be sorting through those to see if any have won. Alas, he'd also been playing the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes--there is so much mail from them (and several bills) that it filled up about half of a garbage can....

4. Blue seems like ya'll have a lot of protests up that way...stay safe!

I have yet to get into DIY...but I've been thinking about it a lot lately...it's the only thing I haven't tried yet, so it's inevitable that I'll get around to it...I'm just busy most of the time while I'm home, that I just don't have the time for it, so hopefully one of these days.

Japanese and military forecasts have some differences. Military has the winds stronger and the Japanese have it coming in a few hours later. I usually split the difference but lean more toward the Japanese side - they usually get it closer than the military.
