Unfortunately I can not spend mothers day with my Mom, she is in a hospital in Texas and I am here in Ohio. I don't think it's anything too serious, they just have her in for observation, but Good Vibes and Prayers would be appreciated.
Off to work I go but TGIF for me!

Best wishes for your mom, jpf. Make sure to find some time, at least, to call her.

Happy Mother's Day!

I sent my mom the documentation for her soon-to-be-arriving-in-the-mail vaping kit. Her kit consists of 3 x 1000 mAh and 1 x 650 mAh ego twist batteries, 4 Kanger T3'D clearos, 1 case, 5 spare coils, 2 chargers, a lanyard, and 6 bottles of juice. She gave me life, perhaps I can extend hers...

Here at home I celebrated by texting my wife - who was in the other room - and asking for coffee in bed. Yeah, I'm that good...

My daughter celebrated by moving into her NYC apartment.

My in-laws are taking the fam out to lunch. I will not be going... still snotted up...

1. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms! Hope everyone has a great day!

My day didn't start out so well. Was hoping to sleep in, but the bf decided it was a great time to cut the grass in the front yard, right outside our window, which woke me up due to the sound of the lawnmower and the dang dog jumping all over the bed and in and out of the window...to say I'm not a happy camper is an understatement...and he wondered why I was so ticked off when he came back inside!:glare:

Jpf, hope your mom is okay...sending lots of healing vibes and prayers!

This was also going on yesterday...........in the water........
The fast-approaching battle with so-called kayaktivists is unfolding in a city well known for embracing environmental causes, laying bare the high-stakes feud over oil exploration in the icy waters off Alaska.

Yes Tigg.....I know I am ....but no one will listen....
And while I am on my soapbox....
SEATTLE (AP) - A federal judge has again rejected an effort to block the transfer of two Asian elephants from Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo to the Oklahoma City Zoo.

The Elephant Justice Project wants to see the animals, Chai and Bamboo, moved to an elephant sanctuary in California. The group's initial request for an order blocking the move to the Oklahoma zoo was rejected by U.S. District Judge John Coughenour, but while the elephants were being transported, a storm forced them to be diverted to the San Diego Zoo.

That prompted the group to go back to court this week. It argued that moving Chai and Bamboo from Southern California to Oklahoma City posed new dangers, including the heat driving across Arizona.

I am actually thinking that there will be more protests today for the cops shot in Mississippi....but then again...it was the cops this time so maybe not...The whole world is angry and I ask myself why I don't want to go out into it? People are walking around mad...and most don't know why...
Well Treefam I am going to unplug for now....have a great Mother's Day everyone....

A victory in soccer! My son's team managed a surprising victory today (no thanks to my son who was distracted by rose petals that had been scattered across half the field following a previous game): 4-1. It was the last game of the season, so it was nice to eke out a win. My daughter's team, alas, lost 1-5, concluding a win-less season. The ref, however, seemed to be watching another game, awarding throw-ins to the wrong teams and calling fouls against one team and not the other. I'm still shaking my head over that one--and my daughter was incredibly upset because she was threatened with a yellow card following a collision with another player when she had clear possession of the ball (the other player tried to stop her by jumping in her path at the last minute and my daughter knocked her down). She's still moping over it.

Showering up now. Have dinner with my mom in a couple of hours.

#3?

Whoda thunk my first vaping related video would be a how to on spinning yarn? I mentioned that I spin my own wicks over on the rayon thread and was talked into posting a demo...

Does this count since there is a person in the video and trees outside the window even if it's not a pic?
