I want to start a New Sub-Contest for the new vapers. Anyone with 6 months vaping or less is eligible. I trust you to enter your name on the list.

6 months or less. That counts me out... although I'm very proud to have made it this far. I tried cigalikes for a few months back in 2009, but it didn't take. 9 months of solid vaping will be complete come October.

I'm also jealous of the 30 minute timer, but not what that would cost. The 3 minute timer isn't that bad, it beats waiting days or weeks.
My love affair with the Ithaka clone may be coming to an end. It's a shame, I even bought the SS tube section to replace the ploycarb. When it works, it is fantastic... but the wires keep popping. I can barely get though one tank before I have to recoil. It may be the pre-made NR-R-NR wires, I'll try twisting some together myself before I give up. Patience, patience...

Yeah, I couldn't find an ultrasonic with a 30min timer for less than $79.99 when I was shopping for mine. I felt I did alright at an 8-min for $24.95 (free shipping), but I hunted for about 2-hrs to find it...
Not that I plan to enter (I do like to see others win) but what about people who WERE vapers but left..........only to return to it later? I ask only because I started vaping in 2009 but went back to analogs after some SERIOUS stressful blows in 2010. I started back to vaping in July of this year. Technically, that means I'm a veteran member AND a new vaper with less than 6 months under my belt.
It's my understanding that I've officially been vaping on and off since I first tried an e-cig almost 4 years ago, but I've only been smoke free for 8 1/2 months. Going by those guidelines this "sub-contest" would be for folks that started vaping in last 6 months, or "new vapers". That's how I understood it, although I am ineligible in any case.
The intent of the Sub Thread Contest is to assist people new to vaping. So, SmilingSlasher, vaping in the past then smoking, then starting over makes you qualify as a "New User".
