Glitchy, Unreliable Attys

I am at wit's end. I have been vaping a month and I always order from Aquavaporcig. I have:

A RN4081 that has always tasted like mothballs and gives me a headache bc I have to draw so hard. Poor vapor production, as well.

A DSE01 manual atty that used to work really well but now has a really hard draw and less vapor.

An automatic DSE901 atty that I just got 2 weeks ago that tastes like a** and actually makes me cough bc it burns and makes my throat feel scratchy. It did work well for about a week.

I was having an issue with little bits of fibers from the cartridges getting stuck in the atty and then burning, so I only drip now. These attys are not dried out. If anything, I overfill. I blow them out regularly.

I really like the people at the company I order from, but I am starting to wonder if their products are just crappy.

What do you guys think the problem is? I'm willing to write off the Mothball Inhaler, but I want these 901's to work.

try using litecig, there attys are pretty good i drip too and havent had any of these problems i also have a 5v PT that i use and still no problems maybe your vendor just has a bad shipment or is generic, check and see what it says around the connection if its blank it could be generic and that might be your problem(just guessing) best of luck to ya!-)

Don't despair. It would seem there is a lot of variance in atomizers from brand to brand and from one production run to another within a brand. I bought a 5 pack of standard EM 510 attys and none of them perform the same on the same device with the same juice. A couple restrict air flow noticeably more than the other three and they all seem to burn at varying degrees of hotness. I bought a 4 pack of EM LR 510 attys from a different vendor and have only used one so far. It's performing like a champ on my Reo at 3.7 volts. The other 3 could have quirks, but I haven't had to use them yet, so I don't know for sure. I have two Bauway LR 1.5 ohm 306 attys ordered from yet another vendor b/c I've read good things about them.

Try a different brand and a different vendor. When you find attys that work well for you, maintain them as well as you can. Lots of threads and suggestions on how to do that.

Keep at it.

I am a bit confused as RN4081 and DSE901 will not work together, are we talking about two different ecig kits, or did I miss something? I have personally used both so am trying to understand. If you are dripping on auto batteries it may kill them quickly..Maybe I am just not getting what you are saying. If It is my confusion I appoligize.

I was thinking the same thing. What kind/brand of PV are you using. If it is one of the small battery types, that could also be part of the problem as in possibly not effectively vaporizing the liquid.

thanks everyone.

yes, we are talking two different kits. i'm not trying to mix them, i was just trying to illustrate how all my kits suck it.

after checking for manufacturer names printed on connections i would have to say all my parts are generic.
the dse901 kit i have is this: Electronic Cigarette / eCig Starter Set (DEUCE II PRO Mini), with some extra replacement parts.

i have two different 901 atomizers and two different 901 batteries.

how do i tell what voltage the batteries are? nothing is mentioned in the product description?

New attys often have primer in them that tastes awful - not sure if that is related to any of your problems.

I swap attys every weekend and wash the used one by soaking in clear sugarless alcohol (vodka but grain alcohol would be better). I make sure it's wet inside and leave overnight. Next day scoop some alcohol through it, then shake it out well and lay to dry (or you could blow it out and blow dry it if you needed it faster). There are other ways to clean attys w/ boiling water too (pouring boiling water over the atty?).

Are you buying your attys at a good place because there are some substandard clone parts around.

And BTW one person found ejuice can get rank if left in heat.

I got my 901 attys (normal, not LR) at Litecigusa.net

i'd have to think that the primer would be out by now. Just last week, both of the 901 atty tasted fine and were producing so much vapor that when i exhaled through my nose, i could feel the cold of the menthol on my upper lip.

bert, i am going to try your suggestion and order the slb attys from value vapor. that's a really good price. i don't know if they do a refer a friend promo, but if so, let me know and i will give them your name.

thanks everyone, for your help.

No, no referral. I'm just trying to help you have a positive experience.
