Great idea for a thread! Helpful, too, since I'd been planning to calculate my vaping- expense against my tobacco savings. Now I'm already halfway there!

That IS a neat idea! I entered my info.

I'd also like to see some kind of registry of the many, many people who have switched to vaping from smoking - people who, if e-cigs were banned here in the US, would likely go back to smoking tobacco. Perhaps there would be some strength, and reality in numbers, that would serve to give a better perspective to those who are against electronic cigarettes.

nice to see that the big tobacco companies lost 3.2million dollars from all of us leaving them in the dust thats with only 1114 people. imagine if hundreds of thousands of people started vaping instead. it would be in the trillions.

You might want to split that money up some. Federal taxes are $1/ pack of cigarettes. States taxes on them varies but the average is more then the feds get and is still another significant part of the price of cigarettes.

Taxes are almost 1/2 the cost of purchasing cigarettes.
