Hi all,

I'm feeling confident that the GLV-2 is the right PV for me (thanks Keyzy). What I'm not sure about is whether or not I should get a 510, 801, or 901 model. Additionally, I'm not sure if I want 5v or 6v, or what model of battery(ies) are optimal. Here is what I'm looking for (please keep in mind that I don't know if these desires are realistic, if something is not realistic, just let me know and suggest the next best thing given the other desires):

Most important:
  • I want my draw time to be as close as possible to the time needed for drawing on a cigarette; and
  • I want comparable, or better yet greater, vapor volume than smoke volume had when drawing on a cigarette (I smoke regular, not light or any other variation of cigarettes). (I would rather choke on vapor than have the tiny amount my 510 gives me! I'd actually like to choke haha)
  • I want consistent vapor production, none of this cloud on one puff then minute traces of vapor on another.

Secondary concern (things I want but not at the sacrifice of the items above!):
  • At least 6 hours battery life while sustaining performance that meets the conditions above

I am prepared to use any PG VG volume mix, so juice type should not be a factor

Thanks for any input!!

Suggestions so far:
2 People: 5V with a 510
1 Person: 6V with an 810

I agree,5v is best.Plenty of vapor without popping attys.Get 510,then get some adapters to try different attys.Like I said, adapters and drip tips are $.99 at Good Prophets.Cheap enough to try them out.

GLVs use AW icr 123 750mah batts.I change mine about every 5 hrs,I vape alot, most people claim to get 8-10 hrs per set.YMMV

I still can't decide on 5 or 6 volt for the GLV but I'm leaning toward 6 volts with an 801 connector because (SR or HV) 801s preserve flavor and provide great plumes with PG/VG mixes. There's a screw on the 801 adapter that allows you to finagle the air flow to precisely your type of draw so using one on a 510 connector would give you the adapter height most GLV owners seem to prefer on their devices.

Go for the GLV2 with the "5v" endcap. You can use most any atomizer you want on it, including LR 1.5 ohm atomizers. Check out my other posts for more information and see the following video that demonstrates this.
