GLV 2 is here and pre-order is now open!!!

for me.. the TH is improved on the GLV 5v... over say eGo at ~3.whatever.. so much so that ive actually toned down the nic lvl of my DIY juices to compensate for the over achieving TH of 5v.. thats all being said using a 510. I started vaping 36mg on a RN4801 (SE).. then when i got my 510 i went to 24mg.. now that i have my GLV .. ive settled on 18mg. I mix up all my DIY juices at 80/20 VG/PG and get very pleasing vapor production and TH.

now..if this 306 is like a supercharged 510.. hmmm i could go really low on my nic lvls... intriguing thought.

I finally broke down and ordered one. Cant really afford it but I have been researching the 5v for so long I got tired of doing it. When I first saw the pics of the new device I thought it looked sexy as hell!! I knew I had to have one! Ordered the Black Lava. to many color choices. But I think I made the right choice! I cant wait to get this!!!!! Jay let me know when its ready. Ill pick it up! Thanks for all your help!

How long does light hound take to get batteries to you when you order them? I ordered a battery spacers too. I think with my battery charger, I will have to use the spacers to charge the batteries. Better safe than sorry. About how long should batteries be charged up before using them first time?

But sadly my GLV2 is not.

I managed to make a mistake and screw mine up about 36 hours after I started using it. And then didn't make it to the P.O. to ship it back out to Jay until Wednesday. Thus why I haven't had much to say.

But I was really liking it for that first 36 hours and what went wrong was completely my fault so I'm sure I'll have plenty of good things to say once I get it back in use again

It really does look even better in person too. The changes in detail in the way it looks depending on whether you're indoors or out in the sunlight is cool too.

usually 3 or 4 days and charge about 3-4 hours til you get the green lights..

I'm here too and loving my Nebula Green GLV2 @ 5V. For my taste, I am finding I like the 901 atty best on this device. I have a different 5V device that seems to prefer the 801 series (includes BE112 and yet to try 302) and another 5V device that seems to prefer the 3.3 ohm 510. Each device hits differently as each provides the 5V in a different manner. I haven't yet learned how to test AMPS but I am beginning to suspect that the different resistors/regulators/etc, may each produce different AMP levels and that might explain why each 5V device hits so differently.

Thye, I wish you would not be self-conscious about a mistake. We ALL make them in one fashion or another. By sharing your experience, others (me included) might learn and benefit from your experience. I am sorry to hear you are w/o your GLV - it really IS an AWESOME PV - but also glad to know it is in Jay's good hands for a quick repair and then you will soon have it back for much enjoyment.

I've got to remind myself to finally get around to grabbing a 510 to 901 adapter so I can try the 901 on my GLV2. I have one liquid that I use exclusively on a 901 and that is the only thing I ever use the 901 for and I haven't used it in awhile because I haven't had a 901 device to use it on and just kept putting off/forgetting to get an adapter.

As far as my "mistake".... it was just foolishly over dry-burning an atty to the point of heating the head cap of the GLV to where it melted/burnt the resistor in it.

Which AW batteries are you using?

In the short time I was using it I did notice a bit of a difference with the High Drain ones, as doots said there would be.

lol yeah more different liquids can be nice eh. In my case I'm trying to cut my collection down to less flavors. Heck I've got liquids I forget I even have because I get so caught up on certain other ones. For example seeing redgirl post here reminds me that she sent me a bottle of her homemade Pear quite awhile ago, that I know is somewhere here in the 40-50 bottles strewn across my desk, and I have yet to remember to try it.
