Ok everything is going as planed ..so far so good. here's what the etching will look like. I had him do mine so I could show you guys ...25$ but it was worth it . Also We have Ms T's on the site and ready for sale. BTW my friends call me fish because of my last name so I had it etched lol.

On a quick glance I thought that had Wiz on it.....Rats!! At leat I know how the Black matte looks!

You will be sent a refund for the parts I can resell. You can not get a custom etched GLV, keep it for a month and then ask for a full refund just because you don't like it . You didn't like the voltage so I rebuilt it for you and you had it for a long time after that. Sorry your unhappy but these things cost me money to make and to have etched ..etc. BTW I had nothing to do with you going back to smoking . I filled your order with a nice looking fully working V5 GLV , with custom etching just like you ordered.

As a long time member of this forum I have seen every refund scenario one can see.An etched/engraved mod will have very low resale value(Unless the names are the same on the body) My question would be the reason for the refund itself?

1.Voltage to low/high?(Sounds like some adjustments were made by Jay)

2.Buyer Remorse(Or something new caught the buyers eye)

3.Said buyer has quit vaping(This being the most common)

I think the poster/buyer should accept whatever refund Jay is willing to give based on any re-useable parts and wear and tear that may have occured durring the time he had it!

Yes and those are almost always reasons for something to show up in the classifieds, not for refunds. Virtually everything for sale in the classifieds is there due to an item not turning out to be right for a given individual, or something else which suits them better having been found. Rarely if ever do we hear of money-back satisfaction guarantees for any mod (not same thing as a defect warranty, which only entitles to repair/replacement anyway); much less for a personalized one, or with the builder first going as far as to actually change the device's voltage so the buyer can see if he likes that better. I am blown away that in the end, even after all that, Jay offered any kind of partial refund at all.

Edit: Turns out Jay does take these kinds of returns!

SteelVapor has a post from almost a year ago where he said he had ordered a Prodigy but was wondering if he should have, since he had already found standard voltage very satisfactory. No follow-up after that but it does show that he even already had good reason to suspect that HV wouldn't suit him. (Or maybe the voltage change went in the other direction, I don't know; but it doesn't make any diff as far as the apparent logic and fairness of finding Jay at fault for something here.)

*IF* this is really all there was to this situation, and unless there had been some kind of special 'trial' agreement made in advance (despite personalization)... unreal.

Wow, that's amazing, very cool of you!

Jay has said that what he wants most from this biz is for ppl to enjoy vaping with his creations (even that if it works out, he'll lower the price of GLVs someday). I think that may really be true, not just something that sounds good!

Hence the reason I paid a little more for my GVL pre-order than I might have for another 5v Mod. Outstanding reviews,Local supplier and an extremly cool button may have influenced me also!

The problems were worked out with the Prodigy and I used it for a long time. It broke so I bought the GLV because it offered 5v vaping which I love.
I am simply a consumer that needs a product that works problem free. Now I see that the Prodigy is the one.

P.S. Why are you moving my posts? I have not been inappropriate in any way. I am using the forum the way it should be used. To buy products, learn and let the public here what is going on with a current customer.

I have talked to steel on the phone and every thing has been worked out. I did move this to its own thread because this is for glv2 pre-orders.

There's nothing you could do to stop them from going out at this point lol. As far Miss goes I have already powder coated hers lime green and pastel yellow ..just like she ordered, so shes all set...I also installed fuzzy dice,blinkers and a bike horn at no extra charge.
