They both look very nice ,but if you really want to go big you could gold plate your GLV.....24K
Im sure the powder coat could handle the heat form the atty , but the atty would burn up in the baking process....I think lol , I'm not sure... 400 for 20 MIN. , but I can tell you that the ones use to protect the threads when I powder coat looked crispy after the first bake...powder stuck thoWhat say you Jay? Hmmm.. wonder what something like that would run me...? i really doubt i would do it... im leaning toward a flip flop powder. and the etching... i dunno yet.. first id need to know my max dimensions for said print area.

After having mine for almost 24 hours now, I can say this is an awesome device. I noted to make the end caps matte black, but this thing is so awesome and works like such a champ, I don't even care they're polished! Just an excuse to order a mini or some 3.7V caps. It took me a long time to decide on a mod, and Jay's came out on top for reasons now blatantly clear to me. Thanks for your attention to detail on these great mods!

The rest of orders will be going tomorrow , and tracking numbers will be sent out as soon as I get back tomorrow night. I have been behind a little but I will be caught up today.

If im reading it correctly.. the item was "scheduled for delivery" today... now my interpertation of this is that... the 2-3 day shipping option that jay sent it out under.. would have allowed the package to be delivered no later than friday ( day 3)... now it would appear that the package arrived earlier (day 2)... but for whatever reason, usps chose to hold it up and deliver it on "schedule"
am i wrong on this view?
either way im not mad.. just as jay said it best...
had it been sent fedex.. they would have went ahead an delievered it on day 2.. (but i guess "on schedule" is good enough for government work..) i get packages a day early from newegg.com all the time by means of fedex.. good stuff

I'm going to check out fedex prices today when I get a chance, but I do like to take them and see them get processed with my own eyes... not sure how the fedex thing works.
