K, well I was going to start a new thread but mine is on Top so. Since I haven't heard back from my e:mail. I'll ask all my emailed questions here.

1.) do all the GLV 2's have an adjustable hex key?

2.) About how long would I have to wait to receive a glv2 mini after order. (estimate) This is important I'm using ecigs and want a mod.

3.) battery charger question posted at the top of this post.

thanks for any help if you know these answers please chime in. Not sure how busy jay is and would like to know asap.

I use AW IMRs for my GLV mini. 16340 is a rechargable battery that is similar in dimensions as the CR123.
I am unsure if you can use standard 3 volt non rechargable CR123s in the mini. I used to be curious but I could not find the answer - and I eventually lost interest in the question.

If someone knows if you can use primary non rechargable CR123s in the mini (since its alluded on the GLV website), let me know. Good to know in case of emergency.

There are a lot of people who do not like the ultrafire charger, I personally have a 139 charger since I was not sure that I would be interested in vaping long term, and did not want to spend $50 on a gourmet charger. I plan to upgrade soon since I have decided to stick with vaping and do enjoy it. I am upgrading for no other reason than I like spending money on good gear if the cheap gear has the 'potential' for ruining the equipment I invested in.

I can't comment on the build time and the hex keys, but if you don't have a set of hex keys handy you really should buy a set, its a great investment.

Finally CALL SARA. It really does work.

You can buy a hex key/allen wrench set from Harbor Freight probably as expensive as a Starbucks coffee or two and in my opinion it's essential to modern life as a screwdriver set or a toothbrush.
Its hard to contact Jay and Sara using email or this forum but I can tell you from experience that they spent more time with me on the phone that it would have taken to simply answer all my email questions and Sara was so pleasant about it.

Yes, I plan to buy a Pila charger. I have read people talk about the XTAR charger also.
Its an issue of cost benefit analysis, and calculated risk. The vendor whom I trust said that "If you only had 3-4 batteries and that's all you will have, then just buy the Ultrafire 139 it's good 'enough', but if you invested in about a dozen batteries then its worth buying the Pila to protect your investment."

The pin is adjusted with a hex wrench. It is so that there is a good fit to atomizers/cartomizers which can have different specs.

I will call them! ^^ And I will probably wind up getting a pila charger too (plan on buying a few 18650 mods down the road) but I might just get the 138 for now. Thanks for the info!

Somewhere out there
I was wondering about the AW IMR batts in the super mini. I use the protected batts I bought with the GLV along with the charger. As for non rechargeable batteries, I don't think they are safe for any mod, you must use rechargeables for what I have read and also use protected batts. But I am wondering if the AW IMR are safe with it as well. bnrk
