510 connecters do this some times. I've had this issue with the mods I've made myself. I've always gotten my connecters from madvapes. The center pin in the connecter gets pushed down a little with subsequent tightenings. It can be pried up with tweezers or a stiff paper clip. Make sure it's centered pretty good though. The center post on 510 cartos can be turned out a tiny bit with a small screwdriver. Don't turn it more than about a 1/8 turn though or you can break the filament. That is usually enough in my experience.

I Use an adapter and leave it in the PV so I am not always screwing in and taking out attys. Of course I just use 510s and 306s so I dont ever have to remove the adapter. That solves my problem. This is the one problem with the GLV I see is the center pin moves as different attys have a little bit different lengths so they can sometimes push down the pin in the atty connector.

This is a great idea! But, I have a 510 connector on my GLV, and I use 510 atomizers...what kind of adaptor should I use?

It's not just the GLV. It's any mod with a 510 connecter. I used to follow the Chuck forum and there was a series if threads on this subject over there several months ago.

Yes it can be any mod really. But the center pin on the GLV is not fixed. It moves up and down very easily once juice gets in there.

I have a fix for that problem that's been working so far. It only happens to one out of maybe 20 GLVs. I have a new center post design in the works that will work on any GLV . If I should ever get a GLV back for repair I will be able to upgrade It.
Send it back and let me fix it for you .

Just recently, all my atty and cartos will not make a connection on my GLV. I am having to use a paperclip to move up the center pin of the carto and atty. Once I do that they work fine. Just odd since it only started doing this. Anyone else have this quirk on their GLV?

Yes I had the same problems, did the same thing with the paperclip but it keep doing it so I sent both back to Jay. The center posts It appeared seem to have move or dropped down, so I couldn't get a connections. It was funny it was working perferct, then that happen. Got them back from Jay and they are fine now.

BUT Jay what is this new upgrade on the center post, if its better than can we send it back for the upgrade?

If your GLV is not working , you can always send it back. If you just want to upgrade it will be around $15.

Thanks for all the input. I PM' d Jay about getting it fixed. Just want to first order a replacement head to have as a backup while its being fixed. Cannot be without a GLV. I am way too spolied with this thing. Anyone know how long its been taking to get just the top cap piece?
I will have head caps next week sometime.

What I use is a 510 to 801 and 801 back to 510 and I just leave it on all the time.

Thanks for this tip. I was having this problem with about half of my 510 attys and cartos. Now using a 510 to 808/901 and 901/808 to 510 adapters. Everything works great now. I had also wanted to try the 808 cartos - kind of like them.
