GLV SM conection question!!!

Is there a way to push up the contact on the old SM (not the hex)?

You can pry it up just slightly from inside where the atty connection is.Just be very gentle and careful.Pry it very slightly just a tiny bit will help it make the connection.VERY GENTLY!!Or you can send it to Jay and he will fix it.

Thanks Key, have you ever push it instead of pull it? I am planning to send to Jay for the screw upgrade and facelift but I am traveling outside the country next week and I won't go anywhere without my SM .

Is it to high?I suppose you could push it down ever so slightly.Just be extremely gentle with it.Mine usually get pushed in from adapters.

Sorry, what a mean is "push it" removing the black cap from the bottom and push it up. I seem is been pushed in but I can grab it from the top .

There is a fix for that problem. You have to pay $15 and send your head unit into Jay. He reworks it and makes it (the contact pin) adjustable. You are then able to adjust the contact pin up and down using a allen wrench. It' definitely worth having done and it only took about a week to 10 days turn around time.

He knows,but he is going out of town so he wants to wait until he gets back.I would hate to travel anywhere without my GLV.I have 2 just in case,lol.
