It stands up fine on it's own. And see my post here. Hope this helps. :)

Also, don't discount cartomizers, they're a great piece of kit.

Hey throbinskin...how ya doin' You might want to check out the SoCal community here on ECF. Southern Cali Vapors We've been kinda quiet lately but have had a few meets. Quite a few folks in San Diego and OC. but you'll have to get in line for the So Cal rep on the BetaTest. It's a hotly contested position. LOL

Would anyone happen to know if the supermini will fit the aw imr 16340? I know it will fit the aw li-ion from Jays vid but curious about the high drain since LR attys require more current than the li-ion can put out...

Good question... I was about to order a handful of AW IMRs but see Jay pushes the regular AW. I posted a question in another thread but didn't get a real answer. I use 2.4ohm cartos and know science says I need the IMR.

There goes that science...gettin in the way again LOL

Actually with the 2.4ohm cartos you *can* get away with the standard Li-ion AW 750mah considering the max amperage that battery can give out is right around the demand of the carto (~1.5A). Since it's right at the limit however, you'll be asking a lot from the battery which could decrease it's life over time.

I'm planning to run Cisco 1.5's (and some actually meter out at 1.4ohm) which creates a current demand of about ~2.5A. Running this on the standard Li-ion will mean decreased life, decreased capacity, voltage sag...etc. From my personal experience, running the IMR's (which can put out about 4.5A) result in the same capacity as the 750mah li-ion (even tho the IMR's are 550 mah).

But if it don't fit, it don't fit.... Hopefully Jay can chime in and let us know. Either way, my supermini is ordered :)

other than size are there any other differences from the mini to the new super mini?

other than original 510 I've only used a AA box mod and my beloved "Blue Moon Chuck". This would be an awesome tiny 3.7v device. Is anyone familiar with anything thats smaller? I can't seem to find anything else.

This is so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, there is always something smaller... But to get a true 3.7V all-day vape in a small package is tough to accomplish, hence why the GLV Mini and Super Mini have such a nice little market niche. You could look at Super-T's P10. It's not cheap and it's battery life will be a 1/3 of the GLV and LR is almost out of the question because of that. But it is pretty small and nicely made. As far as differences from Mini to Super Mini, no major ones that I'm aware of. Same battery, same button, 2 piece design instead of 3 piece design. The 3 piece design does give the Mini the ability to be converted to 6V by simply adding the longer tube and another battery.

Thanks for the info guy. I've seen the Super-T line and like them but I dig the shortness of the GLV Super Mini. I know that there is the Little Sister mod which is the same size if a lighter but the super mini seems easier and cleaner looking. This might be my next mod.

I have a Tenergy charger for my 3v batteries, can I charge the 16340s with it?
