do i just add concentrated nic juice and flavoring to the VG to make juice? is there a step that im missing?

Well, aside from determining your desired PG/VG ratio along with your target level of nicotine and whether that nic base is PG or VG... Not to mention the actual amount of various flavoring in what proportions to your desired final flavors...oh that and mixing, testing and finally tweaking, additives and steeping the liquid...yeah thats all you need to do. LOL.

I'm of course, jokin' around. We all want you to have the most amazing DIY juices but there is a little more to it. Always happy to help if possible.

Seriously, In essence, what you said is correct. However, there are huge steps between those that will make or break your DIY mixes. There are stickies in this forum as wizard mentioned. If you haven't already, you should have a good long look at those.

Best Of Luck!

i dont understand.

i plan on mixing the 36mg nic and the VG in a 1:1 ratio. then adding 10-20% flavoring. im looking for about 18mg nic, but i can deal with a little less due to the flavoring diluting the nic.

what am i missing? what is deadly about that?

Ohhhh, I see now. OK, you have a plan and some numbers. Thats cool. Just to be clear, sounds like your Nic might be VG based. Based on what you said, you will end up with an all VG liquid at 18 mg of nic. If your nic is PG based, then it will be a 50/50 mix at 18 mg. Thats up to your preference. Once you flavor it up, actual nic will be a bit less and you will add a little PG from the flavors. If you're good with that, it sounds fine to start with.

Do review the stickies though. They will help you with the little details.

Good Luck!

i should have mentioned i was planning on getting the concentrated nic diluted in PG. i already have plain VG, so the 1:1 works for me. i like 50/50.

18mg or slightly less nic is fine. im not too picky.

i was going to start with 5% flavoring, and gradually increase up, if it wasnt enough.

i have scanned through the stickies. thanks to everyone who mentioned them. i really wanted to get mixing asap, but i guess i should read through all the stickies first.

Sounds good! 5% total flavoring is a good starting point if you're unfamiliar with the strengths of your flavoring. I highly recommend the http://breaktru.com/ejuicemeup.zip e-juicemeup calculator. Got some good recipes with the download too. Keep us informed of your progress.

Good Luck!

upon further review...the bottle had "Crosby & Baker" on it and it also says 99.7% pure. im assuming that its pure enough..

I have a bottle of "Glycerin" that a friend gave to me. im not sure if its VG or if its something totally different. it says Glycerin, followed by "used to smooth out alcoholic beverages". my friend is a brewer and wasnt sure if id be able to use this. anyboy have any thoughts on this? the only other thing it says on the label is Kosher.

Amendment to my above post. Crosby and Baker have been bought out, and can not be contacted. However, I found this.

Synthetic Glycerin
When petroleum is distilled, propylene comes off as a top fraction. Glycerin is made by adding chlorine to the molecule and then hydrolyzing the trichloropropane produced. Synthetic glycerin is used in exacting applications in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals because of its 99.7 percent purity. According to the Glycerin Market Analysis Report, prescription and over-the-counter drugs were initially formulated with synthetic glycerin and received FDA approval as such. To change to natural glycerin would entail new FDA approval processes.

Well, Camino, I'm sure it's all food grade and reasonably safe. Just a cleaner environment for production if it's USP, I imagine. By the way, your Red Rocket looks like a cattle prod to me.

LOL, well let me tell ya this lil red rocket is really awesome. (note to self, don't vape near angry bulls)

nice. i like the name too.

the pen lights are really cool. there are lighter lights too. basically its a tiny LED light that projects the stealie. in color, too! the closer you point it to an object, the smaller the stealie is. as you draw it away from the object, the stealie grows larger.

i was mesmerized at a show when i first played with one.
