Hi, I've been out of the forums (and back on analogs) for a while, and my hubby and I are finally ready to get back to vaping again. I just ordered some fresh juice (happily awaiting order) to replenish my supply, as my KR808 batteries are all still in fine working order and ready to rock.

But my husband has a Go-Go, which he absolutely LOVES...however, he has misplaced his case which had all his cartos and one of his batteries (thankfully we still have his charger and one battery with the cone...which I had stashed with my stuff).

I found that I can order a new battery from Cig Easy, where we originally bought his kit...but it won't do any good without a carto, and they are out of stock. (He can't stand the pre-filled carts, as he only likes the menthol juice and they only come in tobacco flavor) Does anyone know of anyplace else (besides ordering from China) that we can order the blank carts from? He could get by with just one battery, since they last so very long...but with no carts, we're back at square one. And if he doesn't start vaping, we'll keep buying analogs...which mean I will still smoke too (I know this about myself).

I can't seem to find any information on the CigEasy site as to when they might be back in stock, so I'm hoping someone else also sells them online, but I haven't been able to find any other site.

Any help would be most appreciated...

Discount vapers started as go-goUSA.com but all they have now are EGO to go-go adapters. Sorry but I think you may have to look for something different to try.

Might I suggest a Kanger EVOD kit from Vapedojo: Kanger Evod Starter Kit

Only $35 (cheapest anywhere) and it's a great kit! It was my first after the dreaded blu's and it was the best vaping investment! Super simple and solid performance for an EGO kit!

I appreciate the advice, but guess I'll have to give it up for now. Since CigEasy is still selling the kits, I just assumed (yeah, my bad) that the "out of stock was only temporary. Have they really stopped making these? It's really too bad, since he could vape for 2 whole days without recharging or refilling the carto.

I am at a loss now, as my hubby will not even look at another PV. He is as stubborn as the day is long...guess I'm back at square one after all.

Thanks for the help though.

Really, do not go any further down this path. Go-Go came - and went - and CigEasy may be the only place that's still selling them. It's more proprietary than your 808 kit. His entire vaping experience would revolve around buying stuff from one vendor. Really bad idea.

Thanks but definitely not. He's not into mods at all. You don't know what it took for me to talk him into the Go Go, and even then it took him awhile to get used to it. He's not into "new" things...let alone something that looks as funky as most mods do.

I was afraid that all the advice I might get would be to get a mod or buy something new. It's just not in the picture right now though.

Thanks all the same, for taking the time to answer my post.

You could try posting the CigEasy subforum - CigEasy

You could also try sending SSV2, the CigEasy ECF rep, a private message - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/members/49406/ssv2.html

Or just send CigEasy an email through the website and ask if they will get these in stock any time soon.

Post a want to buy in the classifieds.

I followed the giant go-go thread when it was still a product one could buy. I remember several members had stocked hundreds of go-go cartos. You might get lucky and find one of them who moved on to another product and still has a stock of those they'd be willing to sell some of.

Long term, though - No doubt that will have to be replaced with something else. An 1100 mah ego isn't much different as far as size, weight, looks, battery life, and will accept any 510 carto.

What does he like so much about the Go Go?

He would be a lot better off with something like the Innoken VV V3 or the Innoken MVP V2

He can be stubborn as a mule, it's not going to make an old outdated product resurrect itself. So he can either move on and get something better, or keep smoking analogs.

I would also try to get in touch with Eric from Discount Vapers. He's very knowledgable on the old Go Go product line, and can make some recommendations as to what products are out there that will offer a similar vaping experience.

Honestly, it's not the end of the world. This is comparable to someone refusing to give up 8 tracks in favor of CD's... Nobody makes 8 track players anymore... So you either upgrade or get left behind...

Point taken, Bubblehead. Sorry if I sounded like a whiner, I did not mean to come across that way.

He liked the fact that he could vape practically non-stop for almost two whole days before he had to go to another battery...and he likes the way it feels in his hand. A mod is definitely out for him, as he hates the look of them...period.

I was just asking...I knew full well when I bought it that it was a proprietary PV and would probably be discontinued at some point. After many different purchases and hundreds of dollars spent, I was just happy to have found a PV that worked so well for him that he would actually use.

I was just hoping against hope that since it was just a well made product that it would continue to be in production. Some of us are just not into trying new things all the time, and want to stay as close to the analog experience as we can...without the analogs.

Thanks for your time and trouble, I appreciate the effort and the advice.
