Here are some things that may help:

1. Check the resistance of the cartomizer with a multimeter. It is rare but possible that you have a bad one.

2. Be sure to fill the carto with 70-90 drops to make sure your juice is reaching the coil. Also might help to let the carto sit for a few minutes so the liquid can saturate the poly-fill.

3. Try tapping the carto on the table (battery side down) like you would to compress the tobacco in an analog smoke. Someone here reported having a carto where the poly-fill was not seated all the way down inside the carto, and this would prevent your juice reaching the coil.

4. There is a floating pin inside the threaded side of the carto and the battery. It is possible that these two pins are not making contact when you screw them together. You can try using a paperclip or pin to CAREFULLY raise the center pin on the CARTOMIZER only! I do not recommend that you mess with the pin on the battery end, because the battery is more expensive to replace if you break the wires inside.

Hope something here gets you up and running.

I received my second set yesterday and am having a similar problem with one battery. The button lights up but no spark/vapor.

Compared with the first set, the cartos are not screwing down as far (or as easily). The other battery works OK although the draw doesn't seem as airy. I just pulled off the cone and went on about my business.

Anyway, option #1 is not an option for me.
Option #2 isn't my problem since the prefilled carto I'm using to test works on the other batteries that I have.
Option #3 ... probably not since the carto works.
Option #4 I might try in the morning.... pull the carto center pin up just a little bit? Guess this means that carto won't work with my other batteries then?

Thanks for the suggestions.

Not usually the case as to your question on Option 4. The same "play" or movement in the carto contact that allows you to slightly move it up/out so it can make contact means it can also return to that same spot when used on a battery with a higher contact post.

I have already run into that with one carto and marked it with a silver sharpie so that if it fails to fire on the battery I put it on to slightly wiggle to carto post a smidge. :?:
