Thanks for the kind offer, erfmann, I am using the tip from a 801 cartridge right now and it's working great, I was just hoping for a little color. My angsty all black days have long since past. Apparently at least one of the ones I ordered will work according to Devonmoonshire. Hopefully, both! I guess I'll wait and see what I get tomorrow .. should be here then, Tuesday latest.

Fingers crossed, and I'll be sure to post and let everyone know.

The black one for the cone atty will work. The colored ones for the cylinder atty will not. They are way to big.

I haven't found any colored drip tips yet that work but if I do I will let you know.

LF sells them too but only blk.

The Go-Go just got smarter!

Just caught this over at CigEasy:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cigeasy/180221-go-go-just-got-smarter.html

" The Go-go just got Smarter!

3 quick clicks of the button turns off the Newest Go-go's. 3 more clicks turns it back on and you are good to GO!
No more worries it might activate in your pocket or purse!

It seems the Go-go button was designed from the beginning to be more than just a give me power switch and communicates directly with the on-board computer chip and explains why the Go-go needs the occasional REBOOT.

If your Go-go gets out of sink and you get occasional misfires just run it down till you get the multiple flash signal that it's time to recharge. The chip Reboots when charging and you are good to Go.

The on and off option was not expected to be ready in this release and it was a pleasant surprise that I discovered while testing the batteries before shipment. The instruction sheet had not been updated yet but all the Go-go's that went out this weekend are the Smarter Go-go's!

SSV2's detailed review of the Go-go should be coming out very soon but every time he thinks its ready more info or questions arise!

Happy vaping!
Frank "

Hi everyone! I haven't been able to get here in a couple of days, it took me awhile to catch up!

So I have procured some 3 and 4 ml luer lock syringes, however, I still have not come up with a blunt tip needle for them...I would really like to start filling my go-carts with a syringe. I'm laying it out there and wondering if any of you kind folks would have one extra needle you could send me? I really don't want to pay 5 dollars shipping for something that could be sent with one postage stamp...? Purdy Please? :)

You can also just cut off the tip with wire cutters.

Okay this confirms my earlier suspicion, the kit I received from Cigeasy is in fact a Generation One kit as it not only came with the original tape wrapped black cartos but it also does not have the button on off feature. I am perfectly okay with this however seeing as how I have not had a problem one with this wonderful piece of equipment.

Started vaping when I got my Go-Go April 8th and loving it since I've lost all desire to even have an analog since that time. It's really been a happy side effect since I still have a full pack sitting on my desk that simply goes ignored (aww shucks). Having said that - I do have some questions when it comes to the cartomizers:
1. How do you know when a carto is empty? Usually I just refill them at night and it hasn't been much of an issue. However, I did pick up a couple of pre-filled cartos (RY4) which since I didn't buy additional RY4 juice - obviously cannot refill. Also I'm getting to the point where I'm running down on some of the sample bottles of juice I bought and basically am trying to just finish off the carto before moving on. I don't want to damage (burn) the filler by overdoing it but at the same time want to utilize as much of the juice that already in there.
2. When I do decide to refill with another juice flavor - would I best be served by cleaning the carto first? I've tried cleaning a couple of them with mixed success - one of which simply refuses to vape anything after leaving it to air dry for 2+ days - hmmm. What I'm thinking - is that if the carto is still vaping normally and I refill it with another flavor - will the new flavor simply transition in or will I end up with something totally different and therefore not really give me a good bead on that new flavor?
Bottom filling - why does the consensus *seem* to be that it's a bad idea with Go-Go carts. I'm talking about either condom filling (which I've tried on a few and it seems to have worked just fine) or bottom filling a drop at a time from the battery end (which also seems to work). Am I limiting the life-span on the carto?
Filling a brand new carto. Okay - think I have that down. Most of the juice I've tried in a new carto seems to take about 85-95 drops using the drip and spin from the top - and then the tell-tale drop out of the bottom telling me I'm done. Once filled - should they sit for any length of time before vaping?
Speaking of which - once filled - how long will a carto still be good? I usually put a condom on the battery end and keep them laying down when not in use (and btw-6 fit perfectly in an empty Altoids tin). Would it be a good / bad / indifferent idea to fill a couple with juices I want to try and let them sit for a few days before diving in?
My intention is to narrow down what juices I like to maybe a rotation of 3-4 juices and just have a couple of cartos in rotation. However, the sample packs from Velvet Vapors have been quite good and as a noobie - there's so much to try - I'm not sure what I'll end up liking the best :) And damn if Kat over at Velvet Vapors doesn't keep throwing in an extra sample (or two!). I've already found that I *really* like her Orange Spice Tobacco flavor - but when I reorded a bigger bottle, I just had to order another 5 pack sample (where two additional ones showed up).
I think I've rambled on a bit - so I'll stop for now. FWIW, I have read through all of the Go-Go threads (and then some) - but there is a bit of information overload (not a bad thing - but stuff does begin to blur a touch) so my apologies in advance if any of this is readily available already.
Thanks everybody and Keep on Vaping
-Dave

For those of you with a GoGo and the GoGO-kr808 adapter who plan to use Igo carts on your GoGo batts (probably just me, but you never know):

The 'skirt' on the Igo cartos is too long by just a tiny amount. One can pry up the connector on the Igo carto a little to get them to work. Now I don't feel the need to buy an Igo! :)

Kr8 to gogo works well. A little silly looking, but no problems.

BTW, the Leo 4ml cartos are also quite good so far.

DAVE!!! Howdy There! Okay Here goes:

1: Knowing when your carto is empty or close to it: I can tell my carto is starting to get close to empty by getting a fairly faint vapor production and a noticeable loss of flavor, that is when it is time to clean and refill the carto.

2: Cleaning the carto: Yes it is always best to clean your carto out before placing new juice into it. Especially if you are changing flavors. I have two ways of cleaning my carto that work very well for me. Method one: Just heat up some filtered water or distilled water in the microwave, stand your carto up on end battery side down and then slowly pour water into the top allowing it to drain before repeating several times until most or all of the scent from the juice is gone. Methos two, use a dental pick or tweezers to completely remove the filler from the carto and run it under as hot a water as you can stand without burning yourself, (Only takes a couple seconds really), until you cannot smell the juice anymore, this is te most thorough way to clean it, then just find some kind of tube like object that will fit over the stem in the center of the carto, wrap both pieces of the filler, yes there are two pieces, with the smaller of the two on the inside around this object, and slide it into the carto and slowly reposition it where you found it. This may take some time to perfect, I know it took me a few tries and leaving the filler Damp helps a lot with this method.

3: Filling the carto: I understand that filling from the battery end is a bad thing as the coil is right there in the hole that is there in the center of the battery post. Probably don't want to fool with that end too much. I use two different ways to fill my cartos as well. 1: Drip and rotate method works very well if you have some time to let it soak in. 2: if pressed for time I will use a blunt tipped needle on a 5 ml luerlock syringe and slowly insert it down the side of the carto filler all the way to the bottom, plug the battery end with my finger and slowly fill it until I see saturation at the top of the filler and then bang you are done, lay on it's side and roll it a few times to make sure it evenly distributes the juice on all sides.

4: Longevity of filled cartos: I filled a carto with juice last week and today I cracked it open and used it, I may be mistaken but the flavor of that carto is beyond belief!! It seems like a fine wine, it just got better and better sitting there for a few days. Just my Opinion on it though.

5: Juices: That is a subject that is purely subjective, however my Favs are Peppermint 70/30 PG/VG juice, thick enough not to run right out the bottom of the carto yet wicks very nicely, this is my all day vape. My desert juices are Espresso, Cappuccino, Banana Cream Pie, Strawberry and Double Chocolate mixed together 50/50, and Double Chocolate 20% Cherry 60% and Peppermint 20% all 70/30 PG/VG.

Well that is about all I have for this one Dave, I hope it helps you and anyone else with these questions out.

Nice response, sir Darth...If I'm switching to a flavor that's somewhat similar, one tobacco for another tobacco, for example, I don't bother cleaning the cartos...sure, you may detect a litlle mixed flavoring for a bit, but it's not bad...sometimes the mixes are even better than the individuals...and letting the filled ones sit for a few days hasn't seemed to hurt at all...I usually pop the condoms on the ends just so they don't dry...not sure if they would, but I do anyway...
Glad you are enjoying your Gogo, dave...

Yeppers :D LOL Gotta keep our beloved Go Go Nation members well informed, and yes I too cap my go carts at both ends to allow them to steep for a few days and not dry out. If you have the ones that do not have condoms and you own an original Type A eGo-T you can use the condoms from the tanks to cap both ends of your go carts too. That is what I do.

Thanks Nate - it does help. Quite a bit in fact. I may still be learning - but loving every minute of it :2cool:

As far as juices go - I have been leaning towards the tobacco flavors (already mentioned the Orange Spice) - but in my sample pack that arrived today was a bottle of Blueberry. First few vapes were okay but all of a sudden - I'm downstairs catching up on last night's The Killing when I take a drag (I am NOT calling it a 'toot') and realize - OMG - this stuff is FANTASTIC (18mg velvet blend btw). It's like inhaling warm blueberries! Don't imagine I could stomach it all day - but at the end of the day - absolutely!

Also in Go-go news, I ordered some more empty cartomizers from Cigeasy when the latest batch came in and they've changed yet again. On the plus side - they're not paper wrapped. On the slightly minus side, however, there weren't any carto-condoms as I do like using them to 'cap' cartos that I've filled and have on standby. Finally, for the downright odd side - they are all individually shrink wrapped. I get it for pre-filled cartos - but why anybody thought the need to do so with blanks - I have no idea. Whatever.
