Just attempted my first carto rebuild until the co-op order comes in. Was definitely frustrating, but now it works better than it was after using it about 10 times (only hot water and sonic wash in between). The only thing is that the cotton seems to have to be pushed in farther, so it doesn't hold as much liquid (mine never held 3mL. Maybe 2-2.5mL). When I pull it back up to where it was, I get burnt taste, so I just leave it pushed down. Awesome flavor and vapor again, so I'm a pretty happy camper! :D

Oh, and I used some click pen guts taped together instead of a stir because I couldn't find any stirs laying around the house. LOL :D

DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!
just an update, for anyone who cares...or wonders where i have been. i have been happily vaping away Tasty Vapor Atomic Cinnacide with my GO GO, and well, not much else for me to talk about regarding vaping, since i have found the perfect vaping machine.
not only have i found my perfect ecig, i fell in love....head over cowboy boots, in love....i am middle aged, been divorced a few times (but not as many as Elizabeth Taylor), and had been single for 6 years and truly "given up"....and that's when I found my soulmate! we are going on a halibut fishing vacation in Alaska in July together, and am very excited since I have never been to Alaska (except for Anchorage airport). going to Ninilchik, Homer, and Valdez....for fishing. and to Denali to see Mt McKinley and lots of wildlife. yeehaw! we are like two peas in a pod. he's like the male version of me! we both love each other very much and are looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together. he has property off the coast of Ketchikan AK so we will be probably building a cabin there...great place to escape the heat of our Texas ranch during the summers!

though i am not a "puker"...have a cast iron stomach...and have worked in the past as a boat operator, the seas off Alaska might be different, so i am not taking any chances and going with scopolamine patches!! and some zofran and phenergan bottles. yeehaw!!

Texas - That is a very nice post and I wish you all the best. Everybody loves a lover.

Just a note to tell you that I have an old friend that ran sport fishing boats (halibut) out of Homer. He would tell me about the "pukers". It gets rough out in the Gulf of Alaska so bring plenty of Dramamine and have a great time.

That is great you found your true love. I'm a sucker for love stories. I guess there is hope for us Texas Tumbleweeds after all. I thought we were all ordained to tumble across the plains all alone. I have got tangled up in a few Rose bushes along the way though, once with a Yellow Rose down Texas way, then there was that Wild Oregonian Rose and then an Irish Rose in The Valley of the Great Grand Ronde down in Oregon.
You will love Alaska, I spent ten years up there as a commercial fisherman on the Bering sea. A heck of a place for a Tumbleweed.

The skeeters are bad inland in the summer but I spent all of my summers at sea out of Dutch Harbor and they don't have any out there. I guess it is too far for those skeeters to fly.

Oh congrats, Texas .. good for you!

And yes, mosquitos the size of dogs! Bring plenty of DEET, and they make these coils you can burn around your campfire that will keep them away for several hours if you are camping out. I've never seen them for sale down here, but they are everywhere up there! They work for a 50 foot radius or something. But Alaska is so beautiful, it's well worth the blood loss! You will love it, and not want to come home!

Oh My, I have the ultimate in heart attack worthy food coma. We made a ton of hash-browns, 2 lbs of Thick sliced Bacon, and a dozen eggs. Then I placed a slice of cheese down on the bottom of a huge hamburger bun piled on the hash-browns, another slice of cheese on top of that then some eggs, another slice of cheese then a ton of bacon, topped with another cheese and melted it all together and placed the top on it. WHOA!!! Heavy Duty Breakfast Sandwich there. Four flavors of cheese too, Chipotle Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar, Jalapeno Pepper-jack and Colby :D

I am thinking it is nearing nap time now :D Food Coma Has Occurred!!
