wow, Ceegary! I got light-headed just looking at all those tanks. ;)

Chopper, I have a question for you or anyone using these wonderful tanks. On the first gocart I tried with the 2 slots, I had a lot of leakage right away. So, hubby very carefully drilled one 3/32 hole in another gocart for me. This worked just fine until the tank was almost empty, nicquid just above the hole, and then I started getting some juice in my mouth. So, I imagine I'm not doing something right? any advice? TIA :)

I do find that depending on the cut and the juice the amount of leakage varies. When I fill, I place the tank over the juice bottle I just took the juice from and let it sit there for a while, in case there's any leaking. Less mess and I don't waste the juice. When the juice level is just above the hole, as you tilt it, it can go below which then lets air in. That will cause the leak. Part of the way these work is they are enclosed in a kind of vaccum.

I've come down to using just one hole for my cut. I use a small drill bit for a pilot divot, then drill a crater but careful to stop before it goes through. Finish off with a spring-loaded center punch. It avoids debris in the filler but more importantly; if you go through with a high-speed cutter or drill into the filler, it can quickly wind around it and destroys the carto. (Ask me how I know?!)

Thanks partly to Chopper's help, (he's a champ!) I've been building my own. If you're not going to do that, don't even hesitate to PM Chopper. This is the BEST way to vape Go-gos, it totally elevates the vaping experience several notches.

I like to vape several different juices on a daily basis and rotate those too. For me, one of the best things about vaping is the variety of flavors. Besides Go-gos I use mods at 3.7 and 5V, (designated by the red O-rings). Here are some of my growing collection of tanks. (Did I mention I love them?)

ceegary has hit your issues on the head.Well I shouldn't say issue. Its all due to air and the vacuum affect.I do the same like ceegary mentioned when I fill mine.I fill and let it sit on top of the juice I just used. Its only leaking from the air shaft.Which Ive seen even when you use the condom fill method for 510 cartos they will leak out the air chamber or shaft as well.Very good explanation on ceegary part. Its all air not the tank so no worries.

Another question about your tanks Chopper. When the carto dies (eventually), do we just cut a couple of slits in a new carto and install the tank? The best way to cut?

I use a Dremel with a cutting wheel to cut the cartos.Be careful not to cut all the way through.Just at the point of going through ,stop and use something with a hard point and scrape in the slit and it will break through. So that way you won't cut into the poly filler.I'm going to start using one cut on the cartos as it's been suggested. And seems to work just fine.

I found I prefer the slimmer profile of the 10s and also, because I'm vaping multiple juices my need to fill time extends a lot on each one so the capacity is not that important to me. If I was vaping just one or two flavors a day I'd do the bigger tanks. Plus, I can't find the right 20s here in Phoenix and the 10mls are free for the asking at local pharmacies.

Chopper, yeah I forgot to mention that the leaking is only through the center hole at the bottom of the carto, never had a leak out of a tank.

Okay, I'm not techy so I want to make sure I get this right. First let me apologize for not being specific on the tank. The tank itself has never leaked. Any leakage I experienced was out the carto bottom.

So, it would be better to keep tank well filled above the carto hole/cut to avoid carto leaking and/or juice in mouth - is that correct?

Also, what I was referring to with the first carto was just strange. I half filled the tank and the liquid came rapidly out the carto bottom, so I stopped filling the tank. I placed the whole thing over the juice bottle to let it settle. When I came back hours later the (not leaking) tank was empty; the liquid had drained back into the bottle from the gocart bottom hole and the gocart filler was very saturated. That's when I made the gocart with the little drill hole. I filled the tank about 2/3 full and that gocart worked fine until I experienced the juice in the mouth thing.

Now, in case anyone is worried I had to throw that first gocart out, nope. I put some packing tape around the slots and vaped. It was absolutely the most amazing carto I've ever vaped probably because it was so very well saturated. Makes me want to try Vapian's cartofillinator. :)

Thanks for all your help guys! :)

I think excess leaking may come from holes too large or more likely cutting into the filler and messing with it. Not to do with Go-gos but I did have that problem with two dual-coil cartos and have given up on using them in tanks. I just filled the holes up with JB Weld and am using them as normal. Yes, keep juice in the tank above the hole line.

Thanks Gary for getting this one.Ive been on the phone all morning and the computer getting very frustrated with suppliers. Now I believe my one and only GO-GO is dying. It will not hold a charge very long and is dying after maybe 3 solid hours of use.Its not the charger.Ive cleaned all thread very well and even the charger threads.I even pulled up the battery post a little so I know its getting a good contact to the charger.

Chopper, I was having the same battery problem last week that you are experiencing now. What I did was to clean around the post with a paper towel soaked with 91% rubbing alcohol. Worked like a charm. The battery now charges and works fine. BTW the battery didn't look to be that dirty before I tried this. Worth a shot at least.
