The kits are a pretty good deal, but if you do not need everything in the kits and buy the individual parts, isn't it still a pretty good deal comparing to the Ego? I thought about the Ego because so many more vendors sell them and there are more parts available, but the Go-Go kits are cheaper, ind parts are cheaper, and it seems the Go-Go's have a lot of good reviews for the ease of use and not having to mess with them much, which is what I want.
I'm buying a kit from East Coast Vapors because he lists his phone # on his site and I wanted to talk to somebody with a couple of questions I had (plus he said he'd get it out tomorrow and overnite it, so I'll have it Fri), it is kind of a hassle of because none of the vendors have everything I need (splitting it with my sis, so I need the kit, and an extra chgr/cone and tips), so gonna order the kit from him and order the other parts from another vendor. But for right under $100, I get everything I need (includes $18 for o/nite). I didn't find that with the Ego's, atleast the real joyetech Egos. Probably should just buy two kits for just alittle more (free shipping over $100) which would give me 2 extra batteries, but I really don't need them.
I do have a question with all my ramblings, are the cones just cosmetic or do they serve a purpose?
The cones are indeed cosmetic. If you can afford a kit for each of you, that would be best, IMO. That way you have a backup, and one to use while the other charges.
