So I've had issues with this tank mainly leaking problems but I've somewhat fixed them for the most part but what I notice is that every time I'm very low on juice in my tank it will literally just dump it right out into my air flow when I try to vape it. no matter what wattage I'm using this always happens.

any reason why this happens I mean the wicking slots are still covered in juice. I am just assuming it's a pressure thing due to more juice in the tank = pressure pushing downwards = juice feeding into wick where as less juice = less pressure = juice just feeding right out of the wick and straight into the air flow.

if I don't try to vape it seems fine otherwise but if I do try to vape it the juice just gushes out

I always have the wick tails go all the way to the bottom of the juice wells I can actually vsee cotton. Peeking out from under the barrel.

I also use 70/30 ejuice and never had the GMini leak ever. There is a film on the mod where the vapor setteled through the airflow.

I reduced that bt releasing the firing button a fraction of a second before completing the inhale.

yes it's a pressure thing;
happens with bottom coil tanks

Not if you know how to wick, thank you. It is the wicking allowing excessive transfer.

I have dozens of tanks and the only time I have ever seen any leakage was when one was wicked to lightly.
I don't pack them and many never have cotton(rayon) in the Juice channels.

ahh I see a lot of video's I see people cutting the tails short and so I have been doing the same. will try your method next time I rewick it. How thick are your tails? I always have a hard time screwing down the cylinder over the posts if they are really thick. or do you just screw it down and then trim from there

I wrap my coils around the shift of the little blue screw driver 2 mm. If you use a 2.5-3.5 mm you will need to trim the wick to fit in the juice wells.

Cutting wicks short is great advice for the Kayfun, Taifun, Orchid, Billow V2. But the GMini has four juice wells that are about 3 times as big as the juice wells for the Orchid and about 5-6 times as big as the Kayfun Lite.

If memory serves the GMini has 4; 4mm juice wells.

yea I packed it tight before still had this issue, it currently is packed light/normal imo and everytime this has happened. it happens when it is barely full maybe like 10 good hits left then it just leaks. other then that I mean it works fine. used to use Japanese cotton same issue

Clip the wicks long enough to tuck against the Channels, when wet. Tight enough to just allow the chimney to slip on and screw down. Once the chimney center section is on, use a toothpick if needed, to adjust the puffy ends to fully cover and rest on the channels.

Your wicks are not FULLY covering, or FULLY filling all the channels. When you go to vape, one set of channels is up(out of liquid) and one set submerged.
Air rushes in displacing e-liquid>Out.
When the Channels are properly covered or filled with wet wicking, suction is required to draw liquid and release forces air to be drawn in replacing the used liquid.

*Channel Size is pretty much irrelevant so long as the built is suitable.

***Double check all your seals and surfaces for any possible air leak points.**

I agree here, the wicks need to full in the channel, this doesn't necessarily mean to put as much wick in the liquid/wick channels.

I use a small tool to move the clipped tails into place by moving the lower portion of the wicks into the channel. Sometime I take some from the back near the post too. What it ends up being is a small "puff ball" of wick coming off the coil, sitting on the deck, with wick going into the channel. I don't go the fill length of the channel, but I full the depth of the channel.

If you can post a picture of the wick and coil we can check it out for you too.

i don't have a camera and my phone isn't the best quality literally like taking a picture with a potato. i can tell you though it doesn't sound like what you guys explain. when i uncover my cylinder the wick is all just smashed up above the juice channels. non of it is actually inside it is all on the top of the juice channels. think i will try leaving the legs longer fix it up and then screw on the cap and clip from there

Cut the tails even with the base. Trim the thickness of the tails if you have 2.5 or larger coils do it fits in the juice wells saturate the cotton and uss the needle tip of the juice bottle toothpick, etc and putbthe juiced tails in the channel then screw on the barrel. If the barrel is tight and mashing the tails remics the barrel and trim the mashed tail or tails. Put the barrel on and assemble your GMini and vape happy.

Very easy. A much better vape IMHO.

If you end with véry compacted tails you may get dry hits or even worse burned cotton.

That is the way I wick my GMini. Never get a leak, and never get a dry hit. I use 70/30 DIY juice and my GMini feeds like a freight train.

The air in the tank works as a air spring. With a full tank and a small bubble of air the airspring is strong, you have to suck hard to pull liquid out of the tank. But when the tank is almost empty the airspring is weak and you dont have to pull as hard to draw liquid out of the tank. Once the liquid level is even with the top of the flood deck the vacuum in tank is almost negligible.

Weight of the juice has nothing to do with it.

70/30 pg/vg is a very thin eliquid the OP may be using a high VG eliquid.

I use 70% VG 30% PG. A thick heavy juice

Air spring .. This is one of the most brilliant and helpful analogies I've read. A useful explanation for helping me to understand why my subtank mini sometimes leaked out the airhole when my juice got lower. So thanks!
I will add my own observations that in warm weather the air in the tank expands and my 70pg/30vg juice viscosity significantly decreases which causes my nautilus mini's to gurgle (but not leak) and my subtank mini with those huge wick holes to over saturate and leak down the vertical coil and out the air holes.

I said much the same when I wrote about the Bellus leaking and explained that as Long as there was a vacuum the Bellus didn't leak but if the top fill was not closed tightly it lost the vacuum and leaked like crazy.
