All in is in my blood too! I have been vaping about a month and I'm already building coils with different wire, different wicks, winds etc. I'm looking forward to learning how to use SS mesh next. I always end up researching the crap out of the things I like to do, then experimenting until I'm satisfied with my results. My buddy who got me into this is now calling me for advice/direction ;-)

If you love tinkering, wait until you get into rebuildables. It's pure heaven, and the vapes are outstanding. Ultimate controlability.

I keep contemplating rba's but can't pull the trigger on them! It's bad enough I'm up until midnight writing reports that HAVE to be in some attorney's/mortgage lenders email by 9am. If a vivi nova goes bad I can just screw a new one in ....if I have to stop typing to rebuild a wick/coil i'm going to be rushing/aggravated/nervous to get it done.... I'll make the switch eventually...i think!

Congrats to the OP and welcome to the family!!!!! :vapor:

I must admit, I'm a little jealous of your equipment!

I hear that all the time! Uhm, I wish :p

To the OP:

Your list of equipment and juices show that you've done your research well.

Welcome to the forums, and enjoy your journey!

Thank you.

I ordered the exact same setup last week. Be glad you went 'all out' right away. I started with an 808 setup and lost interest. Having an ego has been a lot more fun to me and made it more a hobby than a way to quit smoking.

Yeah, research pays off indeed.

Sounds very familiar, awesome :)

Actually my AGA-T2 comes today, and I bought it with some prebuilt wicks, so I'm going to try making a coil tonight. Not too bad on the second day of vaping. I just got the call from DHL delivering my Telescope mod as well. :)

Wow I wish I had started out as well as you did. Congrats and have fun:)

Thank you.

Thanks. The key is to have multiple options I guess.

I do love tinkering, I am in the market for a couple if you have any recommendations?

Schlim66

I was recommended an AGA-T, seems to be a good starter RBA.

Yes Schlim66, it's quite fun. :)

I'm actually sitting here vaping with the Telescope and Aga now. Took me 7-8 tries to build a coil that looked decent. Measures at 1.4-1.5 ohms. And it works! Was a little harsh the first few minutes, but it's getting sweeter by the puff. Seems to have a much cleaner taste than the same juice in the T3 and Twist.

Not bad for the second day in!

So if you can get yourself some thick, say 14 gauge blunt tip needles, they work excellent for hand winding coils!

I wrap all my coils around a 14 gauge needle, get it nicely separated, then slide it off the needle, and thread the wick in to the newly formed, perfectly round coil. Makes for a very consistent wrap, consistent resistance, rarely any cold spots...

If you can't get a 14 gauge needle, you could also try using the tip of a multimeter lead, or a nail with roughly the same diameter as your wick.

Really works great!

Looks like the only thing you forgot to get is a ProVari? LoL!

You certainly did go all in didn't you? Good luck! And have fun!

Hehe, ordering a Cobra RBA on the 3rd day vaping might be considered somewhat all in? :D

Thank you. I used a small hex key thursday, and I got a nice coil with no hot spots, but a little low in resistance (1ohm) , but I'm getting there. :)

Had my first night out drinking yesterday, and had no problem not smoking, I love it!
