So, my vaping journey is changing again. leading up to late 2014 I was a 2 pack a dayer, I got serious into vaping with stuff like the mini nautilus, protank 2,etc and I gave up cigs with 18MG juice. In the spring of 2015 I got into sub ohming, started off with a kanger subtank and had many sub ohm atties since. When I started blowing clouds I consistently used 6 MG. Now the time has come, due to battery life and rapid juice consumption, I want to go back to MTL only. It also helps for stealth and public vaping, or driving even. There seems to be more pros than cons for going back to MTL.

So, I'm wondering if I should order 12 mg or 18 mg for mouth hitting. If I order 12 but I actually need 18 how long will it take to adjust? a week? longer? Will it make me want to order 18 or dreadfully buy ciggies? All input welcome.

I still have my mini nautilus and a few coils , but I have a Kayfun Mini V3 on the way and I plan on ordering the Nautilus X as well, all to accommodate my switch back to mouth to lung.

Thanks

shangula, I'm pretty much in the same mg. boat as you. I'm a confirmed MTL'er, and have pretty much used 18mg since I began vaping. I thought I'd experiment to see if I could lower it a bit, and have found my own happy place at 15mg.

So, what I do is to buy BOTH 18 and 12mg. vliquids, then mix them together to obtain my 15mg.

That might be an idea for you as well, and in the interim, I'd suggest getting both levels for your own peace of mind, and so that even if you don't mix them, you'd have the higher and lower for your needs.

Good luck, and enjoy the KF Mini!

Many of us use the 12mg/ml.

The 18 you might just have to dilute or vape less of, if it bothers you.

The 12, you might have to vape more frequently but should keep you off cigs until you get the 18.

At a pack and a half aday, I started @ 24 and went down fairly quickly to 3 with no desire to smoke. Seems I'm content moreso with the hand to mouth action than the actual nic.

I agree with what others have said here. I would get a bottle of 18 mg and 12 mg and see how you do. I worry that if you try to immediately go to 12, you might need more nic. I've heard from lots of people here that when trying to reduce nic consumption, they will vape a lower nic juice primarily, but have a higher nic juice to vape as well when you really need more nic. It sounds like a great way to reduce. I vape 18 mg. nic too and I need to reduce it soon because it's getting harder and harder to find a wide variety of juice that comes in 18 mg.

If I were you, I would rethink the Nautilus X. I have one, and I do not like it. It's just not that great for flavor. I really wanted to like it, so I gave it every chance to wow me, but it never did. I bought a $11 Kabuki Clone tank from 3AVAPE and it is fabulous!! It does tend to leak if I overfill it, but that's easily remedied!! The Kabuki clone uses Nautilus Mini coils and delivers flavor almost on a par as the real Kabuki tank.

I didn't have any problems with my order from 3AVAPE but I think most people here on ECF give Fast Tech great ratings, so I'll link you to the Fast Tech listing of the Kabuki clone tank I bought.

Part of the reason I suggested having the higher and lower mg. strengths was just for the reason you mentioned, JustWondering.

At 12, I would hit it like there was no tomrorrow. I wasn't satisfying my nic, or my throat hit. That little tiny adjustment to 15 was perfect for me.

One can also always increase the mg. by adding in some unflavored nic/pg/vg to the mix. :) Will there be a slight loss in flavor? Perhaps, but for me, insignificant for the most part. :)
