Going back to smoking

I go the Blu cig and now it is hardly working. I have been smoking cigs for the pass 2 days becuase this Blu is not work right. I did order the eGo last week and just cant wait till it get here. i just feel bad going back to smkoing bacause i am coughting again and can tell that vaping is alot better for you.

I ordered this Joye eGo 510 - Special ECF Offer from E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings. it says it come with 5 x tobacco cartridges. When I get it can i just fill my own juice in it or do I have to vaping what is in the cartridges?

Cartridges or cartomizers can be refilled. With carts you will get maybe 1 or 2 analogs before needing to top off with liquid. If that is too much hassle for you I would consider ordering some cartomizers. They last maybe 7 analogs maybe a bit more.

I like the Boge low resistance soft cap cartomizers personally. They are $8 for a box of 5 at LiteCigUSA for example.

Edit: I know there has been some discussion about LR hurting the battery but I have not had an issue - thus far. Perhaps this is because I have been using Boge and they are 2.0 Ohms. My understanding is that some LR are 1.5 ohms...

Sorry to hear you had to go back to analogs, maybe somewhere near you carries one of those disposables to hold you over, they are usually around $10.

The stuff in the pre-filled carts taste awful, just use a paperclip or toothpick and pull out the filling, rinse it out good, then squeeze it out with a paper towel til it's dry. Then just add some drops of your own juice til it is slushy but not pooled on top.

You can definitely rinse the tobacco liquid out of the carts and the poly filling, then refill with your own e-liquid very easily. I have the same set from the same company, and I refilled them with my own e-liquid.

Sorry you have to go back to analogs - I guess I don't blame you if the Blu isn't cutting it. But I will say that LF's shipping is pretty darn fast, so your wait won't be very long.

Not sure if you are an LEO officer but if you are I would recommend buying cartomizers (I personally use blank boge mega cartos), it's alot less fuss. If your on patrol for 8+ hours in a car you dont need to mess with the constant refilling, especially at night....lol

You'll love your eGo and don't beat yourself up over a few analogues. Happened to me when I got caught out with gear failure and no spares when I first started.

Doc, you may be right about the 2.0ohm LR's, I was using 1.5ohm when my eGo batteries died.

I had that problem to with my first ecig, then I got a tornado from totally wicked and no more problems now, but I went back to analogs for a week then went back to vaping , so just hang in there

I have a horrible m401 clone that I am tryyyying to stay using until my new kit gets here. Only 1 analog since Friday. But, I go back to work tomorrow, so I hope this darn battery holds up, or I'll have to buy a pack. Stick in there.

I agree that you should at least try cartomizers. They are very convenient, especially on the go. The most reliable and user friendly 510 cartos are, in my opinion, Boge. You can find them here for a very reasonable price and fast first class shipping. I suggest you try both the higher (3.0Ω) and the lower resistance (2.0Ω). The latter tend to burn faster so you have to keep them moist at all times. They take 35 drops of ejuice and can refilled several times. Good luck!

I will really need some help on how to take out the filter on the carts. it will be my first one. maybe some links to some video<< I have seen alot of videos on how to refill carts for my eGo coming, but know nothing about cartomizers?

Cartomizers can be refilled by just dripping into the metal hole, or filling one of the rubber ends up with some juice and pushing the carto into it metal end down.
I have not tried the blu cig but I didnt see any good reviews on it. I would recommend picking up one of the 7-11 joye products, not the best but better than analogs.
I hear really good things about the eGos and I hope you get yours soon.

I do 10 hour shifts on patrol, also a LEO. Fumbling around filling things in a car while driving on third shift is pita so I use the boge megas just to cut down on filling. That is one place on the link to get them and there is a dscount code I think in the suppliers forum area. I also get alot more life out of those than the standard ones.

yes i will have to order some cartomizers ty for the video it helps alot. When I get mine I am going to put my own juice in it. I do not see any videos on how to take the poly out and refill it. I see alot of how to fill the carts, but none on how clean the poly and refill. anyone have a video or some hting i can see. If notI will just try and learn myself. Damn I want my eGo lol

Hi ncofficer - the filling in your cart is loose, you can use something as simple as a paperclip or a tweezers to pull it out. Then just rinse it under hot water thoroughly and paper towel pat it dry best you can...you can then simply slide it back in and drip 5-7 drops (I think thats the number). I don't use carts regularly so I am not sure. A cartomizer is an all in one unit by the way...it has the filler material and the atomizer coil all in one unit. They normally can hold much more juice...hope this helps.

I love smoking real cigars, just can't afford them thats why i am on the ecigs.. if i could afford smoking cigars hands down would be smoking them over the ecigs..but the ecigs are overall ok. I have the 510 yeti with special mixes it has a good cigar taste the Blackbeard's Revenge is the best tasting cigar taste EVER..its Cuban-rum and 555 mixed in equal amounts.
