Currently, I have three ~330mah batteries (Tiny, cig style) and have been using just the normal cartomizers (2.6-2.9ohms) from Smokeless Image. Fantastic product, got me off of analogs instantly. The day I got my PCC with the pre-filled cartomizers I quit smoking that day.

After absorbing as much information as possible from this site, as well as others from hundreds of users, I like to think I have a fairly good understanding of e-cigs as a whole.

Smokeless Image just came out with 1300mah batteries and clearomizers, so I picked some up just to see what the fuss is about.

And it completely changed the way I view vaping!

Having a larger battery takes away the hassle of constantly switching them out to charge. This 1300mah lasts me all day easily.

And the clearomizer is absolutely, 100% perfect for me. I have an OCD type complex when it comes to vaping, and I hate never knowing when my cartomizers are nearly dead. Not to mention the flavor is a lot cleaner... Hard to explain, but it tastes like the juice and not like poly-fill.

However, in my search for going completely filler-less it was impossible to find 808D-1 products. There are 510's everywhere, but the only place I could find 808D-1 threads is directly from China. Definitely not liking that (Shipping is expensive).

So, my questions are -

1. Who is the flat out best retailer (Or retailers) who sells genuine products? Mad Vapes, Got Vapes, Liberty-Flights, etc. USA based is the best for me, faster/cheaper shipping.

2. Even though the clearomizer has a little bit of an "off" flavor compared to cartomizers, I felt the same way about the cartomizers at first. The filler gives it a weird "off" flavor, so it just takes getting used to, right?

3. Which battery type is best? I am planning on getting a ProVari in the future, but for now I am happy with the normal, plain battery types. eGo C, eGo T, whatever. Seems like the eGo C is the current "hot" battery out there, and it VV so I'd be fine with one of those.

4. I want to go filler free, but definitely not tanks yet (Probably get into those when I get my ProVari). Just clearomizers. So who sells those for 510 threads?

Thanks for any answers and help.

I still have around 30 cartomizers and the rest of my 808D-1 batteries to go through, so I won't be purchasing anything for a couple months at least. But it'd be nice to get a solid start on where I'm going next. I literally haven't done any research into anything that isn't 808D-1 threaded, so 510 is a whole new world for me.

Thanks everyone!

The best vendor question is tough. You want the best vendor but, you'll have to be more specific. Best products? Best selection? Best price? You probably want all of the above. As far as I know, it doesn't exist in a single site. Madvapes is great! I buy a lot from there but, they're like the Wal-Mart of vaping. Good selection, good prices, okay quality but, when you want the best or you want something specific, usually you're headed somewhere else. I buy from numerous sites for that reason.

Crystal Clear Vaping for good prices on bulk cartomizers.
VaporKings for good prices on bulk atomizers
Ikenvape or AvidVapor for specialty atomizers and the best standard atomizers
Phiniac for the best DCT tanks
RTD Vapor or Super-T for AW batteries

I don't use clearomizers and I DIY my juice so can't help you with that kind of thing. From what I've seen on the clearomizers, they keep getting revised and people keep having problems with them. If you want to get away from filler, get a bottom feeder or a VVPV and learn to use it with an atomizer. That's what I do. You do have to learn to use something like that but, they've stood the test of time.

Now that you have a larger battery, it's time to check out the Smoketech DCT 1.5 carto tank. The 3.5ml was more than enough capacity for me and the flavor is as good as I've had, even with dripping.

The 3.5ml tank is slim and productive. I wouldn't carry one of those in a jeans pocket because they seem fragile with the polycarbonate tank material, but for places where you can stick it in a shirt pocket and have the latitude to sit and vape, it's one of the best.

I use Boge cartos on my Provari or eGo when I'm out and about and both the plain carto and the DCT tank when I'm at home.

Most all vendors have some good juices. You just have to experiment, listen to what people gravitate toward, and try this and that until you form a personal list of favorites. The chase for the best juice involves trying other peoples' favorites, some of which you won't like. Juice is like food. Some love broccoli, squash, and spinach and others want baked potato, carrots, and peas. We all love chicken, fish, and beef, though.

Try some 3ml samples of things you think you'd like. I wish sometimes I lived close to a town where vape meets and convention style ecig vendor shows were frequent. That's where you get to pick up a bagful of free samples.
