Ah my favorite holiday. Thankfully the wife is cooking if it was up to me we would all starve
Going out to a family member's place. Like not having to deal with the cooking and cleanup. We are donating the turkey and a lot of the other food so we get to grab up the leftovers. And it's only a ten minute drive. Good arrangement actually.
Downside is I won't be able to vape there. It's scheduled to be cold and wet so going out to the front porch won't be a lot of fun. On the other hand I can live without vaping for a few hours, couldn't have done that with the cigs.

I am cooking and having family over. Turkey, stuffing, green been casserole, mashed potatoes, candied yams, gravy, biscuits. We take the left overs and feed the homeless. Plate of food, bottle of hooch, and some warm socks. Make sure my kids know how fortunate we are.
The best part of Thanksgiving is when the dishes are done and everyone leaves.

Both.... I'm making a pie and a pork roast (my SO's family doesn't do turkey very well - but there will be one there! - and NO, it's not ME!) Fortunately, it's only a 45-minute drive
And like Mick, no vaping in the house. I may slip out to the garage to have a hit or two...

Families are out of state, friends for TG meal have proven to be unreliable!! 5 years ago was the last straw when I went balls out and cooked a 14 pound bird for 6 people thinking I could provide everyone with some seriously good leftovers, trimmings included!!
Nobody showed up! Wife and I have been going to a nice restaurant that does a perfect meal with enough for lunch the next day! We sit at the bar, drink well, watch football and down a few dozen oysters before our meal! Much less stressful, truly more satisfying!!

We were going to my folks place (two hours away), but their master bath hasn't finished being remodeled and is two weeks late; they are still sleeping the guest (our) bedroom. Plus, our 21 year old son would rather stay here to celebrate with his friends than hang with his fam. Our 17yo daughter has a job that blacked out Friday as a day off, though she gets cut early just about every night she works.
We were going to leave tomorrow night after work and come back early Friday, but, you know; family time is precious.

Cooking... (me) Going to have TG dinner with my mom for first time in 3 years, maybe 10 years before that.
