Still sitting in a truck stop with nothing to do but walk, read, walk, go online, walk, go inside the store and look around at everything I've seen a thousand times, walk, crawl into the sleeper and try to force myself to sleep off some dead time (can't do it, but still I try), sleep and during it all, vape.

I'm still smokeless but my bodged together thingamajig that sorta emulates a half decent PV isn't cutting it, the only juice I could come up with is all but unvapable and doesn't have near the nic level it could stand to have (around 10, talk about long pulls and plenty of them. lol) and my only backup is the N-Joy, which actually tastes good, but is friggin expensive (in truck stops at least, 5 cartos = $22US).

As soon as I find a shop out here on the road, that sells PVs, I'm getting a 510, kr8, or whatever is manual and I can drip with! Then I gotta find me some juices.

I've got a PV coming in the mail, but it's headed to the house and I don't expect to be there myself for a few more weeks. Just gotta find something to get by till then. I honestly didn't realize that the many places that do sell decent starter kits in shop, don't usually have a means of getting near them with a commercial truck. Ah well, we all learned our lessons in starting anything right?

My question is this.

When I do find this shop, of the juices that one might commonly carry, what would be your suggestions on a couple or a few to get by with for a few weeks? Things you think would be "bearable" to just about any vaper.
I'm saving the flavor testing and DIY for after I get my kit back home.

Thanks all!
Frank

IMHO chocolate is probably the best thing you can get. Most tobaccos out there have some sort of chocolate in them, and the very familiar earthy (?) flavors of the chocolate help a lot with those who miss the tobacco a bit. Now, if you insist on something that really tastes like tobacco, I cant help ya. I never wanted tobacco flavored juices. If I wanted tobacco flavored, I would smoke. Since it is such a basic flavor, most places will have a chocolate of sorts I would guess. Good luck with it! I can imagine long hauls can be pretty rough for keeping the vaping supplies up.

If your at the truck stop in Tacoma WA. I'll bring you what you need. If not I recomend you cut the constant PV upgrade as all us have done and go right to a Buzz from notcig. It gives you the ability to raise and lower youl voltage level from 3 to 6 volts and anywhere in between to get that everchanging sweet spot. After that get some cartomizers from Ikenvape as they outlast anything on the market with people reporting getting months out of 1 carto. I went through it and now have a bunch of pvs collecting dust since I got my Buzz and then the Infinity.
One last thing you can do. I've heard of people soaking chewing tobacco in propylene Glycol and then drawing it off and vaping it. The malls also have smoking everywhere kiosks at them you might be able to get juice at in a pinch.
Also Madvapes has 3&5 at 50ml for $11.99 that has a throathit that will take away that craving. I only use tobacco flavored juice and it's to strong for me. I vape 24mg. juice.

Hadn't thought about the Malls, THANK YOU!
I know I can find a mall that'll hold a Kenworth without issue :D

Wish I were near WA.

I'm actually waiting on a mod PV (bottom feed) that will be at my door step long before I will, just wanting something for now.

Flavor doesn't really worry me. I stuck with something that tasted like supercharged (highly over heated) hydrochloric acid for a couple weeks or more, before I found that vaping could actually taste good. Doesn't need to be a tobacco flavor, couldn't care less about it.

On the other hand, I'm one of the few (actually turns out there's a heck of a lot of us) that literally can't stand the taste or smell of chocolate. If it's a mild addition to a flavor, I doubt it would be an issue, but without being gross, full flavored chocolate would likely create some rather less than desirable tossing of cookies.

Thanks again!

rather laughing at the chocolate reaction, but the way chocolate juice tastes and say a chocolate bar, are two different worlds. Perhaps if you do hit a mall, you can taste sample some chocolate. I will stand by my belief that it is one of the most innocuous and yet pleasant flavors out there. All the chocolates I have tried have been very mild and very understated. Vanilla based ones may be okay as well. One of my favorite flavors is lemon poundcake, but odds are good you cant get that one at the mall. LOL I will also offer to hook ya up with some juice if you drive through the lehigh valley in pennsylvania at any point. Beyond that, all I can do is wish ya well!

Ah sorry about the state. Had already tried searching the area with the help of some other ECF'rs to no avail.

At the moment, I'm just about 5 miles North of Laredo, TX at a Flying J truckstop off of I-35. I'm heading out tomorrow sometime (no confirmation on when yet), for Belvidere, IL. Beyond that, I have no idea where the wind shall desire my passage :D

Will give the chocolate a try then. Should be tamer than it was in pipe tobacco anyway. I'm expecting vanilla flavors to be something of a comfort blanket to me, as black vanilla Cavendish was my all time favorite tobacco.

Thanks for all the generous offers :D I'm a little red-faced atm.

Thanks all!

WOW everybody!

I really didn't mean to ask for handouts, but .... gosh, thank you all for offering!

I might take some of ya up on a meet and greet sometime if the cards fall that direction, but right now, I'm just going to nab a decent manual PV and some odds-n-ends liquids to get by for a few weeks.

Dang, don't really know what to say other than thanks in great amplitude!

Load changed. Still picking up in Laredo, but now going to or near Cincinnati, OH. As of now, the load is still in Mexico.
Might just have to holler and see what's around close.

As it stands, I'd be happy to find a dead 510 batt and a couple attys :) lol I'm betting a mall smoke shop will have something along the path.

Have a great one y'all,
Frank
