Hehe, quaalude tv, tell me about it. S6E1 segment 4. I started dozing about the middle with making artificial bonsai and perked back up for the trombones, had to watch a second time too. Very impressive, that is working with some brass. :)

I went to a music repair guy looking for a trumpet valve once, he wasn't very supportive and I got a lecture about how they didn't have the technology to extrude and everything was seamed, yada yada- but Quigs, that was a show!

I'm just glad they got rid of Mark Tewksbury...he was one turtle-neck sweater away from a good punch in the face

For the sand filled bending, you can heat up the copper while bending, or just bend it slowly and clamp it at both ends after the bend. The tubing will bounce back so you want the radius of the bend to be smaller than the size of the bend you want.
