It's definitely a good deal. Plus I have some leftover parts to start on another one if I find the need. I think I'll go with something running a smaller battery to carry around in my pocket. The inside diameter of 1/2" copper should be about 13.8mm and the outside diamter of a 10440 or AAA battery is about 10.5mm, so I think my next mod will be something in that size, just to carry around in my pocket. I can always bring a couple of extra batteries, especially considering how cheap they are.

poland, and the brassy lands of google
That's me with the heavy. If the brass compares in weight to an equivalent in copper, then by all means. Any chance you might have a part # for the spring? The Streamline name is great too, I've got some similar brass caps but they say 'c-pex w f 1807upc cnsf us-pw' just not so catchy.

I can check on that part # when I get home to the packaging. I don't think the weight is much more than it would be if I used copper caps. I think the PV is just heavy because of the size and amount of materials used, and it doesn't even have a battery in it yet. It's something I'll probably use every day and carry around in a backpack. But definitely not a pocket device--unless of course you want to walk around looking extremely "happy."
