Going To Mexico W/Vamo.....

I'm going to Mexico in a few weeks and was wondering if there will be a problem laying in the sun by the pool using the Vamo v5, Zmax Mini ( plan on only using the Provari for going out at nite ).

Will the sun/heat have any effects on the Vamo or Zmax?

i don't think you'll have a problem with the mod itself. I would be more concerned, depending on the tank, with flooding issues. Heat makes sealed tanks flood a bit from expansion and can make a mess.

I work outside and have had no issues with heat causing problems. May be hit to the touch but otherwise business as usual.

Yeah, a lot of tanks don't suffer from it, but my Ithakas are temperamental and can flood quite a bit if the juice control isn't closed partially.

That's why I said depending on the tank.

If you're flying (which I assume you do since you say you're from the Illinois) the reduction of air pressure at altitude will cause any amount of liquid in a tank to leak and make a horrid mess. I empty mine before flying, and also put the tanks in individual zip lock "snack bags".

If you are going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time, I would recommend a small cooler, or insulated lunch bag. Maybe with an ice pack. Just keep your gear wrapped in a small towel; you don't want it to collect condensation from the ice pack. Heat and batteries don't mix well.

Agree with Nu2Dis ^^^^^^^batteries in the hot Sun not a good idea. You'll also notice your juice thinning which could lead to flooding. When at the cottage on the beach I keep mine in a small cooler with an ice pack.

Thank You all for the replies. Will bring a small cooler along and a small ice pack. Also Thanks for the tip about flying....will certainly empty my tank before getting on the plane. Plan on sitting in the bar at the airport for a few hours before take-off and hope I'm allowed to vape in there.
