Going Vape free for a week...

Well I am going on week long trip from Alabama to Oregon tomorrow morning. After considering the hassle of carrying on juice and batteries and having to go through TSA with Mom (who doesn't know I vape or ever smoked), I just decided not to. I have no worries about reverting to cigarettes, but I sure will miss my vape. If you are so inclined, prayers please! Ok, Ambien kicking in and an early alarm in a few hours. Night everyone and happy vaping.

You'll be alright. I did that when I went to Thailand for two weeks. Not only the hassle....I didn't even know if it was legal there, and that was something I did NOT want to play around with lol. I went in confident knowing I could fall back on cigarettes if I had to (I know, I know lol).

The thing was, I was still addicted to nicotine. I still had the desire to vape, and I really missed it. However, I had absolutely no desire to smoke cigarettes. It's hard to explain, but it's a different sort of addiction.

You could always pick up a cheap setup while there and bestow it upon some poor analogue user on your last day. Good Luck!

If you don't feel comfortable letting your mother know, I guess you have your reasons. I just wanted to say it's really not a bother to fly with vape gear. I always bring my laptop and phone, so it's just one more thing to pull of of the case for screening, a couple more bottles in my bag of liquids.

Even the tiny airport I use doesn't bat an eye - in fact they let me vape at the gate.

Have a nice trip! I lucked out for a mom. She bought me my starter kit. She did fairly well too. Variable volt ego that acted as a passthrough with a bottom coil clearo. She's a little shocked at how large my mods are now, but she's happy I'm not smoking anymore.

I didn't realise you were going for a whole week.

I think you'll be OK though. It's only been 2 months since I gave up smoking, and I find it much easier to go without my e-cig than I did without a cigarette!

Well it is almost Saturday and I have survived so far but I miss vaping SOOOOO much! Keeping myself occupied by reading this board and totally DROOLING over the Vaporshark DNA 30. I am having a great time here with my family and hopfully will be able to sneak in a visit to a vape shop or two with my nephew before I come home on Tuesday.

I absolutely understand this. My vaping is a personal and private thing. If the OP doesn't want to share she vapes, that is her business and only her business.
