HI I got a goliath v2 atomizer and I rebuilt it with kanthal A1 28awg 8 round on both coil 2.5mm diameter. And the ohm reading at 20w is 1.7ohm. Is it optimal?

Seems like youre going quite high for 1.7ohms. Better not stress your batts out too much by using too much W on higher ohm coils. They might vent if they get too hot as youre pulling around 5.8volts out of the batt.

Thank you. Am I right to say anything above 3.7v is stress for batt?

with this build its only 3.43A it wont vent the battery.
voltage has nothing to do with it, on the other hand discharging below 3.7V is quite stressful for the battery.
however a single 28 gauge 8 wraps is 1.7ohmish, on dual it'll be 0.8ish(divided by 2). Still 5A draw only it shouldn't do much to the battery.
