Afternoon. I'm a new vaper and new to the forums,I have been vaping for about two months and six days now. I'm very green when it comes to all things vaping, and I might even ask some realy stupid questions!

I use a Kangertech subox mini starter kit as my first step into the world of vaping.

Thanks for taking the time to read my first post and I hope to have many happy times and lots of questions to ask you all.:thumb:

Welcome to the forum @Freckles71 - sounds like you're off to a good start and doing great :)

Thank you. It's been a bit of hit and miss with the mod box I used to use,but I'm doing fine with the one I have now. Though changing the prebuilt coil was a bit scary! I'm never sure if I have done eveything right and get a bit scared when using the mod after a new coil.

I tend to stick mostly to what I know and like (eleaf iSticks at home and an Innokin Endura for out and about). Although I'm still only using prebuilt coils, I have amassed all the bits and pieces to try building my own but haven't actually got round to doing it yet - now that I know I will find scary which is probably why I keep putting it off :D

I have a Kbox 160 and tried to build the one that was with that....Let's say it didn't go very well.:(

Welcome :) you are pretty local to where I'm at, seems to have been a few new Scottish members over the last month or so.

If you are looking to build coils it isn't really that hard but it will probably take a few attempts to get the hang of it. You can always get something like a coil master, makes it insanely easy. The trick however is getting the hang of the wicking.

i've got the topbox mini... found the RBA's not too hard, tweezers are your friend lol. i'm very happy with the krangertechs.
Not got one of those myself, have built subtank mini plenty in the past and it looks very similar in the pictures. A lot easier than some anyway :) first attempt always seems hard though.

oh the first attempt fluked and worked... 2nd and 3rd not so much lmao. the protank is much easier.
Ah I don't have one of those either lol :) Originally tried rebuilding on the very first subtanks but after I started preferring building my own coils I moved to using mainly RDAs and occasionally RTAs so not particularly familiar with the newer generations of tanks which also have RBA sections.
