Hi guys. I'm trying to put together an order now that my Ali'i is fixed. I think this is the right sub-forum but any mod feel free to move it if not.
I'm trying to get some batteries (16340/CR123A and 18350) and my main vendors are CoV, nHaler, and madvapes. I had a bad experience with nHaler batts a couple years back (I bought a set that became nonfunctional in days) so I don't even look at their batts. They may have better atff now though. I want to buy the AW IMR ones from CoV but they are a whopping $10 a piece! And madvapes batts aren't AW anymore (I thought they had AW ones back when I was buying stuff regularly) so I'm nervous about buying from them.
I was hoping I could get some suggestions or a confidence boost in the madvape batts. I'm scared to buy anything besides AW because of the venting issue and I'm not good about testing batts and stuff and I usually use them u til the mod doesn't hit anymore but $10 a piece when I need 6-8 batts is really horrible for me and I don't know that I can justify it.
So what do you think? Any experience with the madvapes IMR batts? Should I stick with AW? I've been out of the game for over a year so I don't know about any advances in batt tech or even who the maker of the MV batts is. I'm also willing to buy from nHaler since I'm making an order from them anyway but if they still have generic batts marked "nHaler" on them I don't know of they're quality since the last ones I got for my Ali'i became nonfunctional so quick.
Also, if you know of a trustworthy vendor with AW batts for cheaper I'm willing to look into it. I just don't try new vendors until someone tells me they're good.
