Im lovin my new juice thats 100% VG, I am using a silver bullet at 3.7 i believe and for now just dripping onto a LR atty. It works great and produces amazing amounts of vapor and flavor.. ive tried 2 different cartos that i have(fluxomizer, and cart from my volcano magma) and it just does not compare to dripping on the atty. any good suggestions on specific carts that will produce same effect as LR atty?

The RES system on the Apex Alpha models works beautifully with all VG juice (it was actually designed for VG). Other than that, probably the best for really thick VG mixes would be either a bottom-feeder mod or something like the DoD kits. I've had no trouble with thick VG juices in carto tanks (cartomator, liquinator, etc) with Boge cartos, but haven't tried the carto without the tank for those same juices

There isn't such an animal (yet). Best you can do is thin out your juice with distilled water or pure grain alcohol to work with a carto. Try it with 3ml of your juice adding water or PGA a drop at a time and write down the % if it works. No carto can deliver the flavor of dripping. The stuffing mutes the flavor. Tanks... waiting for one that doesn't leak. If you find one please let me know! Even with a tank you have to thin your juice if it's all VG. Good luck.

Note: I haven't tried the tanks with cartomizers in the middle. Defeats the purpose for me since I don't want juice filtered through the filler material. Think I'm allergic to the stuffing/filler.

You need to use a tank...not a t-tank...I'm talking about a cartomizer tank. Use 2 slots for 100% VG. Vaporescence.com sells what I'm talking about. I don't suggest using a dual coil because I've found that they cause leaking out the battery connector. With that being said, use a 3ml tank of your choice from them with a LR Boge cartomizer with 2 holes/slots...I've found the slots to work better with VG. If you buy the 5ml tall tank, you can use Ikenvape's mega LR510 cartos but unfortunately, their site is still down...he's switching servers. If you go with the phat tank, the LR Boge will fit nicely. I've used and still use all of these with 100% VG without issues and love every one of them.

Other vendors also sell these types of tanks:
vaporescence - 3 different sizes
Nhaler - I don't recommend because they use acrylic tubing that will crack unless they've changed it since then.
electronicstix.com - Jtank
COV - sells the DCT tank made by MAP (mostangrypirate)
cightechs - some unusual designs
mostangryindustries - MAP's website

and I'm sure I'm leaving out other vendors but this will get you started if it's what you're seeking.

Yes, thinning the juice will affect flavor (and nic strength). Vapor, probably won't affect it too noticeably.

And yeah, the RES system is awesome :2cool: The learning curve is pretty steep compared to most every other piece of hardware I've tried, but well worth it once you get the hang of it. At first I was starting to regret the money I spent on it, but once I got the hang of it I just couldn't put it down. It's my go-to hardware for most of my all VG juices

Boodle...I clicked on "like" to get your attention back to this post. Since you have allergies to the filler, have you considered using a MAP tank from cloudsofvapor.com? They take a CE2 which is fillerless. Just thought I would suggest that. CE2's work better in a tank than the way they come from the manufacturer. All you need is a small piper cutter to remove the sleeve, insert it into the tank, fill, and vape.

I have been wanting to try 100% VG I love lots of vapor.
I think the dual coil ego giant Smok carts would work good for me, being they don't hold thin juice so well( it settles to one side or the bottom to quick.
So i am thinking the thicker juice would be better for them.

oneweek...they work but you can't chainvape with them. You need time to allow the juice to move through the filler to reach the coils. If you aren't a heavy vaper, they would be good for you. I recommend using these because the filler is looser than the EMDCC's....eGo Mega Dual Coil 4 ML Cartomizer LR 1.5 Ohm, Single Unit - E Cig : Joye eGo & eGo-T | Boge Leo | Cartomizers | E-Liquid | Electronic Cigarette | eGo Tank

With liquinator, 1 slot just did not cut it, I added 2 more holes with a nail. For cartos with boba's. I condom fill, taryn spin and top off with a few drops till I know it is nice and soaked. Bought a syringe recently but have not tried that yet.

If you want to use a cartomizer with VG juice get the "Ressurectors" from CCV. They arnt wrapped as tightly as a lot of other cartomizers and can handle VG. I normally use 80PG/20VG but I have a juice that is 85%VG that I really like and have been using the same Ressurector for that juice for over 2 weeks.

If your using VG juice I would really recommend filling them with a syringe. If you drip into them it will take forever to settle, especially with the Ressurectors or any other XL carto.

Heres how to do it.

I originally posted this in another thread for someone that asked how to fill the Ressurectors so Im copying and pasting. This is essentially for all cartomizers, just instead of putting 2ml in your syringe that the ressurectors hold, your going to put the amount for whatever cartomizer you use holds.

How to fill a cartomizer with a syringe:

"All you have to do is take the dropper part of the bottle off your juice and fill your syringe with 2ml for a new carto. Take the rubber tip off the carto and carefully insert the needle down the side pushing against the metal. DO NOT go thru the filler because it will move it and you could potentially break a connection and your carto. Slide the needle down the side and go all the way to the bottom. Then slowly start dispensing some juice. Dont dispense it all bc then it won't be evenly distributed. Put alittle in, then take it out and insert the needle in a different spot. I normally do it in 3 spots (in a triangle) I found it distributes the best, but you could just do it in 2, on opposite sides. Make sure the needle is at the bOttom bc then you will not have to wait at all for it to settle. Disperse slowly and you will begin to see the toP of the filler become slushy. It is full then, don't put more. If its a new carto is will def hold 2ml, if your refilling it won't take a lot so pay attention and once it gets alittle slushy stop. While your filling hold a napkin or something under the carto bc if you do it too fast a few drops will come out the battery end. If that happens its only bc you did it too fast and the poly fill didn't absorb quick enough.( that happens to me bc I am impatient and fill it in about 10 sec, so I just hold a paper towel or napkin underneath.) wipe up the drops and put the rubber cap back on the carto. Then put the carto between your hands and rub back and forth spinning the carto quickly. This will insure the liquid is evenly distributed in case you put too much on one side from the syringe.
Now you have a perfectly filled ressurector that is ready to be used right away!"

Goodluck!

Thank you! :) Same here, I'm mostly a high-%-VG vaper (high-PG juices don't agree with me), and I use cartos almost exclusively. I do find that the Ego Mega Dual Coils work quite well with my 100% VG juices, too. Not all 100% VG juices are the same, either - Boba's is the thickest I've tried, and THAT still works for me in cartos.

The caveat is that I am not a chain-vaper. Also, filling cartos takes much more time with thicker VGs; I do the slow fill method with the condom ends (there's a pbusardo video of this more patient method) on my Boge LR cartos, and use a syringe with my EMDCCs. I let them sit for maybe an hour after initial filling as well.

If I'd listened to some of the more vehement folks here who swear you can't get VG anywhere near a carto, I'd have stopped vaping - my eGo tanks leaked like crazy and muted flavors, clearomizers hate me, and dripping is just impractical for me (I'm on the go a lot, no dripping and driving!).
