From my understanding VG produces more vapor but does it taste any different and does it reduce the life of my atty? how often should i clean my atty if i use VG vs PG? and what are some good companies that sell VG based ejuice? and an off topic question if my ecig leeks from the atty holes alot and sometimes makes a gurgling sound what does that mean? and if i am overfilling any tips? i bought blue foam for my carts and am not really familiar with dripping if i should use a blank cart or what? it may be alot to ask but how do i drip and what are the pros/cons

I really appreciate anyones time who reads/answers to this post.

I am using a 510 i have a pass though as well, any recommendations on an ecig that gives amazing vapor, i have been analog free for 3 months now smoked a few but have not bought a pack yet. and as a toy i want something that produces a STUPID amount of vapor.

Let me touch on a couple of your questions.

First, you have a 510 which is known to be a vaping monster if you have a good atty and the right mix of e-juice. PG and VG is what is used to produce the vapor that you and I both really like. I have found myself very sensitive to PG so I use VG exclusively in all my DIY e-juice mixes. VG by itself is very thick so it needs to be thinned out to equal the viscosity of PG so that it flows and wicks properly. A general rule of thumb is about 10% of distilled water (I use water from a gallon jug of tap water that's been sitting with a loose cap for a month or more) or I also use 100 proof Vodka. Others use PGA which is Pure Grain Alcohol (often sold as Everclear but not available everywhere). And yes, VG does help produce much more vapor than PG.

That gurgling sound you sometimes hear is one of two things. Either you've flooded your atty and the juice has made its way down through the atty and out of the two tiny holes on the threads, or it could be that your e-juice (and sometimes moisture) has made its way into the air passages of your cartridge and into the top portion of your cartridge. If it is the atty, simply unscrew the atty from your battery, remove the cart, then place a tissue in one hand and blow through the battery end of your atty (with the entire brass threaded portion in your mouth) as hard as you can while catching the excess juice in the tissue. Now take just a corner of that tissue and gently insert it into the cart end of the atty (do not twist the tissue) to absorb the excess. Now turn the atty around and blow through the cart end of the atty and catch the juice that flows out of the threaded end. Then wipe that end dry. Now all you need to do is put at least 2 drops of e-juice directly onto your atty bridge (I usually prime it with either 4 or 5), put your cart back on and lightly begin vaping once again.

If the gurgling sound is coming from the cartridge, then using a paper clip, stick it into the tiny hole at the mouth end and pry out the end cap (it will come out). Look inside the cart and you may see another piece inside with another tiny hole, pry that out too. You'll notice that these parts are soaked in juice/moisture. Clean and dry them off and replace them in your cart and you should be all set.

Dripping is nothing more than adding 2 drops (no more) directly to your atty bridge and using an empty cart (no filling) for a few good full-strength vapes. Once you notice the flavor tasting slightly burned and less vapor production, two more drops and once again a few great vapes. Keep in mind that you'll get better vapes and flavor if you give the e-juice time to absorb into the fibers inside the atty and allow the atty to cool a bit between vapes (I usually wait about a minute after two good vapes).

VG will because it is a bit thicker have a tendency to "gum up" your atty a little faster than PG but I never have a problem with that because I always thin my VG out. And one more tip I found was that a light-long vape produces the best flavor and vapor for me. There is a fine line between just enough juice on the atty and too much which you can and will learn over time, just be patient. And if you do get frustrated with any problems, go to the appropriate topics here at ECF and post your concerns. You'll always get the answers, tips & tricks you need to fix it.

Hope this helps!
