I'm
Not sure. there is a check box for one piece or different pieces but that's different than dead soft I assume.

Yes def different. Well with the 39.5' I still have left from Israel this can wait a bit but thanks. If anyone happens upon the difference I would love to know
Also I dont remember one thread from another anymore, but this silver wire I'm using is amazingly easy to work. its actually almost too soft. Once the Kanthal is oxidized w a lighter it becomes a bit tricky to properly twist(Ody style).

Sorry. I'm new to this but I have yet to oxidize the Kanthal before making my wicks. Did I miss this? I haven't seen any videos with this step. Maybe I missed something.
Thanks!

Yea apparently you just need to heat it up with a torch or hot flame until it turns red hot. Let it cool and you're ready to go.

Exactly.....

I do it because it makes the wire less springy and easier to work with. My personal reasons have nothing to do w taste. 2 cents

and theres that reason too I myself like my wire a little stiff.... thats what she said... sorry couldnt help it... best suggestion is try it see if you like it if not no big deal....

Just noticed that Coinswiesiek has removed all of his items on ebay. Weird!

it's summer vacation time here in the states . he probably pulled everything for a week rather than have orders he couldn't ship .

i just received an order from him placed last week .

cheers Woody

Listen up Cheech...I am a BIG fan of joking around to the point where I have to stop myself all the time. I actually created an acronym for writing a smartass response, then deleting it and in its place writing the sentence : This is one of those times where I wrote a whole dissertation response, then deleted it and wrote this".
The acronym is APD = Another Paragraph Deleted.

I was in direct contact with that seller and she told me that she was ordering a truckload of wire for all of ECF. Then when it came time to sell she had like 10 rolls only. I linked her products all over ECF at least 15 times and she was full of poo.:)
