Good Getting Started Vendors?

Hi All,

I've been lurking for the past couple of weeks now, but am still far from sure what my best route is as far as both an 'e-cig' unit and where to get 'juice' WITH nicotine living here in Ontario.

As far as the vaporizer goes - it seems most vendors are re-branding their units with their own names to some degree - so how does one differentiate? Are there really only a handful of 'core' brands to choose from? I've seen the '510' mentioned on a few places (and re-branded with 510 in the name still) - is that a good way to go unit-wise? I'm really just trying to emulate the 'analogue' experience as much as possible - and would (like most people I'd assume) prefer not to buy a piece of junk that'll break every week on me :)

As far as the 'juice' goes - it seems most of the recommended suppliers for the actual units don't sell nic juice anymore - but the one I've seen through here that does, doesn't seem to have a 'cigarette flavor'. Can anyone recommend a good place that has something as similar to the 'real thing' as possible for me here in Ontario?

Similarly - what's the storage time for these pre-made juices? Assuming it gets (more?) difficult to find those with nicotine - how long can they be kept/stored for? Frozen? Do they 'degrade'?

Any tips or advice much appreciated !

Welcome Thumbscrew & Robbi:)

As Robbi suggested, 510 is becoming very popular both for the look and performance One of the highlights is the manual switch , considered an upgrade from automatic batteries. So it is definitly a good idea for a first PV.

As far as nic juice, keep checking or email the current Canadian suppliers listed in the supplier thread here that sell juice with nic - hopefully they'll be back in stock !

As far as storage , the upbeat consensus is that it will last 2 yrs if stored in cool dark dry place. Keep them sealed..until you need (my own stockpiled juices are still doing great 8 months later.. )

Good luck!!

Thanks Misty!

Thumb, I read a gentlemans post previously claiming that these products expiration dates are determined giving these products the worst possible conditions. So assuming you follow proper conditions as Misty stated you should be fine for a good while past the 2 year expectancy date.

Also, I agree with Misty about the manual switch being a step up, if you need a reliable Canadian source Thumb, feel free to PM me.

happyvaper has 510s and PCCs along with almost everything you need to make your own liquid. Only thing you need to find elsewhere is the nicotine. I believe Quitstix.com and VapesMart.com have some unflavoured e-liquid in stock. Jack from HappyVaper also posted this recently:

We hope to update tomorrow on our latest shipment where we should bring most of these items back to full stock AND add:

Silver 510 Kits!
Blank Whistle-Tip Carts!
Silver PCCs!
Silver Passthroughs!
Car chargers and USB chargers!

Please let's all pray to the customs gods!

I trusted all the good reviews about the 510 and was not dissapointed when I got mine. I'm really looking forward to the silver unit myself, just waiting for it to get there.

PS: "English Toffee" + "Caramel" = awesome :D !

I started with a 510 on-the-go kit from HappyVaper as my first ecig ever,
conclusion: it freakin' awesome! and Jack helped me all along the learning process of vaping, answered all my question I ever had at warp speed. Perfect condition for a begginer, and still perfect for more advance users.

Jack, if you apply for prez, i'll vote for you!

Canvape has amazing service and ships same or next day. I placed an order Wednesday evening and got my parts Friday at noon. He is definitely on par with Vapesmart in terms of his service. He carries the 510 and the 901's, either one is great E-cig to start with and he has great prices. Also, he answers emails in 24hrs!
