Good morning, VV friends! I hear ya, ty, super hard to get back into it after the luxury of time off!
Swer, I haven't used the ViVis yet either. I'll be browsing the forum and if I run across something helpful I'll let you know.

Gout is about the same today, still painful but improved. Thanks for the reminder about the baking soda, Swer. The prednisone is not exactly conducive to sleep...I was up way too late last night!

Good to see you, Ms Iowa, I always enjoy your posts!

Cooler front is finally here, along with badly needed rain. It's kinda weird to not hear the A/C running 'round the clock.

LOL I wish you all could see kitty Jack right now. Its still dark out, but I opened the blinds and he's freaking out at his reflection in the window. He's such a nut, so much fun to watch, and so darn cute!:)

I hope its ok to ask this here but it seems like a misc sub-forum. I do not seem to have the time to do this in the PIF section. Does anyone here know of anyone that still uses the eGoT atties/carts? I wd love to give away my stash of extras- I have the A and B and C stuff and will not use it again- hate to waste it all and wd rather gift than try to sell. Any suggestions wd be appreciated.

Don't forget the baking soda and ACV cures for a natural alternative.

For anyone who would indulge me, I am very confused about the OHM ratings wih the Ego Twist using my Vivi Nova. I'm a little slow with this lol, people have explained the voltages and ratings to me more than once and I still don't quite get it. My burning question is what does a Twist mean to me using a Vivi Nova with 3 different heads? Does it simply negate the need for different heads?

Right now I am using 1.8 OHM head on my KGO. I went lower in an attempt to get a better throat hit like I've been reading (was using 2.4) and it seems to have worked but we'll see. Now, if I used the Twist with this head, what would I get? Am I right in saying it would turn that head into a higher OHM?

I like the idea of being able to dial voltages on the fly. But wonder if my Vivi is already kinda doing that just requiring me to physically change out the attys. Am I making any sense or am I way off and talking about apples and oranges here?

Swer...you are theoretically correct in that you are changing the ohm resistance of your Vivi by changing out the heads...a simple formula to remember is (voltage x voltage) / ohm = amps...what you ultimately want to determine is the amps you like vaping at...below is a chart that shows amps by ohm and voltage which will probably be easier to use in stead of doing the math...

now as far as the twist goes, you can use any ohm head on your Vivi you want, and you would adjust the overall performace by dialing in the voltage on your twist...for example, i believe the kgo is 3.7v...if you are using the 1.8ohm head and want the same TH/Vapor/Flavor ect, you would dial in your Twist to 3.7v....if you wanted more vapor/warmer vape, you would up the voltage to say 4.0v...if you wanted less, 3.4v or anything lower....

Now, if you were to use your 2.4ohm head and wanted the same results as you were getting on your 1.8ohm, you would need to increase your voltage to get to the same amps...in order to get the same as your kgo setup, you would want to dial in the 2.4ohm head to approx 4.2v...

all this said, with the ease of the twist, best way to do it is simply set your twist to around 3.4v, take a vape, adjust it up one tick and take another vape....continue this until you find the perfect spot for you for whatever juice you are using...for me, i am using 2.4ohm Phownix 3ml tanks currently, and my sweet spot for most juices is 3.8v...some taste better at 3.6v and some i like at 4v...the beauty of the twist is that you just adjust it with each draw until you find the best spot for you :) hope fulyl this all helps and isnt to overwhelming...

That's so generous, MPage! If you don't find anyone on here and don't want to put it in PIF or the Treasure Chest, you could always PM Bianca Montgomery. She is the mod of the PIF forum and she does a fantastic job of putting together packages for vapers with emergency needs.

Perfect, thank you! I wd love to help out so will pm Bianca.

Thank you, it's a lot clearer now. And even if I get confused by it I will just do what you said with the Twist: dial and vape until it tastes good. Cheers man.

no problem...and yes i would suggest just trial and error with your twist as each juice could taste differently at different voltage levels with the same ohm tank/cart...when in doubt check out that chart and just make sure you are in the green range, or close to it, and you will be just fine :)

Vayne I sent you a PM with more badgering :p

In other news, I had my first real moment of weakness last night. My mother in law lit up a cigarette in front of me. I was vaping on my KGO all the while, but could smell the smoke. And even though I was vaping nicotine I found myself craving an analog like crazy. I could barely resist demanding one from her, lol. And I knew the smoke stunk and was heavy and toxic but I didn't care. Today I am over it but it took me by surprise and I kinda got discouraged a bit tbh. Keep wondering why I was craving it when I had my nicotine in-hand. It was the smoke that did it. I wanted to inhale it, toxicity and all. Guess I need to avoid "smokers" for now.

Hehe thanks guys. Yeah, I was hanging my head in silent shame last night lol. It was like a forbidden love...so wrong and yet oh so right. My poor mother in-law had no idea what a narrow escape she had - I was eyeballing that cig lol!

But yes, I need to put it down to growing pains and not be afraid to even smoke 1 every so often. That way it will remind me of all the cons of analogs and the pros of ecigs. I kinda wanted to draw a line under cigarettes when I started vaping but perhaps that puts more pressure on me. In the past, before vaping but when I used to have stints of cold turkey from cigs, I realized that sometimes just the IDEA of an analog can sometimes be more alluring than actually smoking one.

Puffin' good morning, VVers!
I am the victim of a Jack attack! (Jack is my 4 month old kitten.) Any self-respecting kitten knows that 4 AM is the purrrrfect time to attack your sleeping mama's feet, who cares if she is gout-stricken.
So, here I am, drinking coffee and puffing on my VV Espresso...down to half a bottle!

Hey Swer, did you offer your MIL a puff off your e-cig?

EDITED to include mug shot of offending party. Please disregard cigarette burn in recliner.

Yes, and she almost fell off her chair when she tried it, exclaiming it to be too strong. Because of the nicotine level I guess - I was looking at her in puzzlement because I don't feel it. This is what led her to getting one of her own cigs and lighting up, all the while oblivious to the fact that the devil was on my shoulder whispering sweet nothings. Completely over it now though. Couldn't give a hoot about analog cigs. At least until I smell one again : -/

GOOD MORNING VVER'S

What a great morning!! Then it gets even better with the great and wonderful news from Annette. Our beloved Kittypie joining her to work along side of her Wooohoooo. So in other news my Internet went down on Saturday and just started working again last night. Still not up to what is suppose to be they are suppose to call today to see if we can get going better, if not I have to drive 3 hrs this weekend to have it fixed ; - ( That's gonna be painful on my back but oh well got to have it. I was going totally crazy without it plus no emails came in that whole time so if someone emailed me during that time I didn't get them. I know I didn't go that many days without at least one. I hoping there wasn't any important ones that I missed.

Swer don't be hard on yourself believe me my 6 months is coming up in a few days and I still have days where I want one of them stinky things and them days I vape like there's no tomorrow and praying the whole time for the strength. But after 40 yrs at anywhere from a 1 1/2 to 3 pks a day it is not an easy task. So what I do is I have a tobacco one that I go to this is the one that helps me on them days. Still waiting for Annette's to come in. I will be all over them. So bring that head up high as you did not go back to them stinky ole things and that's a BIG plus!!! Also you should have had your MIL take another hit off of the ecig as I have found that the first one for everyone is that way. So when they are testing mine I always for warn them. Also I have found that if I turn mine on at least 10 minutes before my first hit in the morning I don't get that hard first hit.

I have a funny lil thing to share. So I was going into the grocery store the other day walked past the ashtray and went WOW that stinks!!!! Now I know why everyone said I stunk when I smoked. So inside the store I told one of the checkers someone needs to clean that ashtray it stinks lol. I never in my life would have thought I would be one that would say that. Although I was the kind that was always cleaning ashtrays.

Annette I am so happy for you and relieved that now I will know that your getting a lil bit of R&R for yourself!! A Congrats to you too for finding someone like Kittypie!!

So now that I have written a book for you all lol HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!!!!!!

Thanks V8. Yeah I have been eyeing the tobacco flavors on VV for that very reason. They're not in stock yet or am I overlooking them? The problem I had with previous tobacco flavors from other vendors is they taste nothing like tobacco - more like wood. Waiting to see how the VV version will come out based on feedback.
