Good evening.... Larkfour love the t-shirt. It remains hot and busy here..not much else to say:unsure: They are teasing us with potential 80 degree weather next week. I am enjoying the Olympics..will be glued to the tv here shortly for the evening. I can't believe the US Olympic Winners get cash prizes and owes taxes on it. That seems kind of crazy as there is a lot of expense for their families traveling etc. that could be covered with that money. I don't know...there are probably arguments both ways.

Also watching the Olympics. I have a cheesy little medal, in some box somewhere, from the summer before college.
Bronze medal for Women's Rowing Eight in a local Regatta. Today, I still swear that was the most physically demanding athletic thing I have ever done = racing in a Women's Eight boat. Dreadfully exhausting.

Congrats! No medal is cheesy! My son rows so I have some idea of just how incredibly demanding it is. Once his forearm swelled up to more than twice it's normal size during a competition and he was in such pain! I have so much respect for anyone who can row a 2000m race.
Congrats to the USA on their gold in the women's eight. We got silver!

And I love your pictures of kayaking. I haven't been in mine for a few years now and hope to be again soon.

V8 .. Hang in there! I've been feeling that a lot lately too but this week, instead of wanting the world to stop so I could jump, I turned and stood my ground and things are starting to improve.

The bit about going to jail is bang on and very close to home. Someone offered to beat my son up for a jealous ex and she took him up on the offer. He was beaten badly. Now it's police and court and all sorts of stuff. The teenage brain is just baffling. But..we deal and heal! Hope things get easier for you soon!
