LOL, Swer, what we won't do for our furbabies! OK, please tell me how peroxide helps your back? I hope you loosen up! I have had back problems over the years and one of the BEST remedies for me anyway was the ThermaCare Heat Wraps...the ones that you can wrap all the way around your body. TMI maybe but back in those horrible days when I would have cramps, I would put one of those on and slide it around so the heat was in the front and it was soooo wonderful. OK, enough TMI (and thank God those days are well over for me!)...I hope you feel better. Give Tika a little kissy-poo from the VV gang!
Oh, this was her mother causing problems. I dont even feel Tika - shes too small. Her mom tho is heavier and she just sat there like a gargoyle all night. Yes, the things we do, I can't bring myself to move her because shes fast asleep and so I kinda twisted and turned and suddenly sore back.
The peroxide sprayed onto the affected area will increase oxygen count which increases circulation around that area that in turn reduces inflammation and speeds up healing alot. This is my preffered remedy for muscle pain (and joint pain) of any kind. I sprayed the area with it every hour or so and thankfully it is almost gone now. Without it, I could have been in pain for days. Most people like the pungent smelling topical stuff like tiger balm and menthol, but they soothe more than they cure and sometimes you are left applying hot patches or creams everyday for a week.
Not to mention its $1 for a bottle. I am almost back to 100% and that was a kind of deep muscle strain that would last at least 3 days if I didnt use it.
I found menthol is a close second to peroxide as far as increasing circulation goes but it takes longer to absorb and is not as effective and smells very strong.
I'll be on the site first thing on Monday to get mine.
