Hi Sassers - I read somewhere that a rule of thumb is to add 2 to the ohms and set the voltage there. For example, if you have 3.0 ohm carts, set the voltage at 5, and for 2.9 set the voltage at 4.9. Seems to work great for me. Let us know how it goes!:vapor:

Wow, is it different on a Provari? If I turn up my twist past 4 it tastes burnt. I use CE3's at 2.6 - 2.8 ohms and with the more delicate juices I start at 3.2 volts. Still so much to learn....I also remember reading here that someone would turn their Thai Mango waay up.
What do you use water4choc?

Well I had a small accident and ..errr...picked up the Swiss almond to smell it and set it down-it tipped over starting a domino effect so I sorta lost the snake bit and half of the forbidding fig in the process. Good news is the forbidden fig and the snake bite smelled amazing so they sure didnt need a lot of breathing.

I'll give the others a rest and then take a shot at vaping the remaining Fig because it smells delicious

I didn't let the Juicy Watermelon sit when I first got it. It was good right away. I did notice however, that a couple weeks later it tasted really good!

That was one that smelled really strong to me so I thought it might need a bit of breathing

I use a Provari with a Phiniac tank - my favorite setup. I have also tried the Vision Vivi Novas and they are good too. I also have KGOs that I use occasionally. Not familiar with the twist so maybe the info I gave doesn't work for the twists - sorry:blush:

Oh no! Must be more careful! VV juice is so precious - I hate it when any spills.

Not a problem at all... I thought you used something like a Provari. Those mini blue ones sound like something I should put on my Christmas wish list!

Oh Swassers.. unfortunately I think we've all spilled those sample sizes somewhere along the line. I know it's hard a first to decide on volts etc. as everyone uses different hardware. I use 2.0 cartos on a Provari with a Lava Tank and normally have my settings around 4.2 I've not used the Viva Novas so can't help there. If you started with samples for your juices..I think most of those are pre-steeped. I still leave them sit for 24hrs with the cap off..but I'd just pick one and give it a ride...
LouP.. I have gone through the journey with many different batteries/mods through the past couple of years...once I got my first Provari I was set. They are an investment..but worth saving your pennies for. I also prefer the mini..just like how it fits in my hand.

Oh well scratch the vision for now-I managed to get the adapter locked onto it and in the process of trying to loosen it I got it wet so it's a goner. And since i only ordered one adapter .... I ordered replacement adapters but won't see those until after the holiday so...tried out a cartomizer. I used the Forbidden Fig

OMG

It is wow. So good. Sweet but not too sweet. Kinda dark. I just love it

I can't believe the difference in quality and subtle ness between this and the other ones I had before

Wow

How do carry it around though? Do you have a special case for it? I'm trying to imagine pulling one out of my purse in public.

Well I usually don't take my Provari out of the house because they are expensive and I am afraid of dropping or losing them. That's why I have the KGOs. The site that sells Provaris sells cases for them, but I did not get one. There are sites that also sell leather cases and lanyards, but I wouldn't want to put my Provari on a lanyard because it would be too heavy around the neck.

I'm using 3.0 and adjusted to 4.2. Higher it was starting to feel hard in my throat, but I think I also may be vaping wrong too - I'm trying not to drag in it like a cigaret but it seems there might be a learning curve with that too

Sasser- not another problem! Good thing you seem to be good natured and good thing you are enjoying the Forbidden Fig! You make it sound so good - I just might order me some!

So what voltage did you end up using?
