Morning VVers! Still a bit sleepy-eyed this morning. Getting coffee'd up for the day. Had a wonderful visit with my son over the long weekend. We were on the beach near Santa Cruz and saw schools of dolphins and seals and pelicans and talked and laughed and just enjoyed our time. Must get together more often! Have a great day everyone!

I'm trying to get rid of mine still...mountains of last minute laundry..shopping lists, etc...and our transport just cancelled on us!
Moving day is tomorrow...son thinks most important thing to do today is spend time with girlfriend!

I'm back from my dr appt and while it may be a little TMI, I'm very happy to say that my diabetes has improved to the point that I can stop taking 1 of my 2 oral meds! My blood sugar was too low, so they brought me some OJ and crackers -- first time in my 54 years that someone MADE me eat. Woot! Very happy to say good-bye to those pills! I'll have to re-double my weight loss efforts and see if I can't get off the other one, too. I had lost 63 pounds by drastically reducing simple carbs, but I've crept back up a little over the last seven months (a lifetime of yo-yo dieting has destroyed my metabolism. Cautionary tale - don't do it!)

EDIT: Got my flu shot, too!

I'm starting my week with more vape mail! No juices yet, but I got the most adorable glass jars from Sagewood to hold those special favors one I figure out my favorites. Got some cute tips from them too. With new juices coming and some tanks and clearos I think I'm going to give my bank account a rest - I think I'll be all dialed in!

Back to my "offline" job today. The DNC is here and my office is right on the perimeter street of all the street closings. We even have guards at the parking lot! The local news is reporting a few arrests last night with protesters getting a little out of hand. I'll be glad when the whole thing is over!
