Rootwacker re flavor on my 24 mg. Not So Virgin Eggnog
Current analysis: coconut, mint with hint of cartotire. I smell some buttery tones and if there is some alcohol and nutmeg it was flash burned.
(my taste buds are still in the 10 ft. Under stage and my draw is still a bit too over zealous)

Hi Serenity: I am a bit bamboozled as to why I keep burning things up over here.
I have not had any trouble with my Mango Mint Julep, Ego and Boge LR. Seems I can hold down that little button forever and vape like a train, up to a count of eight.
Other flavors I'm using a 3 count- let go of button!!! I try light draw, in-between draw, harder draw.
I've filled cartos with condom method and centrifugal method. I've let them sit overnight. I do not think the problem is my filling method.
When I figure out what my problem is I'll probably end up with a huge palm mark on my forehead.

Yay! Good luck on rest of finals, Serenity!

And Larkfour.. don't feel bad. I've got the big read palm print on forehead myself right now. Just got this awesome 'repairable atty' from a friend on the forums, so excited about this thing...never have to buy atty again. So put 3 drops down drip tip, took one (awesome vaporfilled) puff, and then 'pop!'. Don't know what i did to this poor thing! rofl I'm choosing to blame the usps. So I guess I'll have a chance to see how to rebuild this thing right away since nimrod me managed to kill it with one puff! lol

Lol Larkfour, you crack me up. Doesn't sound like its your filling problem, but normally when I get burnt tire over here its because the atty is dry. Perhaps some of the other liquids are too thick? Just a guess, I'm pretty stumped too. When you get it figured out you'll have to let us know though :)

Orachel: Oh no! That sounds terrible. Some attys require 4-6 drops of liquid in them when dripping on them brand new. I usually always flood them on purpose and then blow them out when they are new. Just to make sure liquid has gotten through all the parts. I blew a few early on....that pop scared the hell out of me the first time. Sort of felt like one of those cartoons that light the cigar and it blows up in their face lol So yep, red hand print on my head then. I kept reading everyone say 2-3 drops....2-3 drops, but no one bothered to tell me that when the atty is new it requires more liquid to break them in. lol I started flooding them first, blowing them out and THEN 2-3 drops. Typically that keeps them from blowing up on me. Not sure about the new fangled mod attys though so maybe what I just said is totally irrelevant.

Yeah, if I order Eggnog again, I will ask for EXTRA extra flavor and a extra nudge of nutmeg. (I have a bottle of rum/nutmeg juice from another vendor (shhh, it's from a LONG TIME AGO) and I added a couple of drops to my Eggnog carto and it improved the taste dramatically.)

P.S. Whoa, tyleris! What a great prize! Congrats!

rofl... It was already primed, because he handmachines these to build em, so he has to try em all to make sure they're good before he sends em out. I know he vaped quite successfully on it for 20 mins. And he puts silica or something on them for travel so they don't dry out. BUT it was just in a tiny bit of bubble wrap in an envelope, so guessing it got banged around pretty good. He's gonna explain to me how to repair it, so I'll let you guys know how it goes. That's what its designed for, after all. Popping doesn't have to be terrifying anymore since you can just fix em right up! lol

No prob, and i have the perfect guy to make you one relatively cheaply if you decide you've gotta get one. They're rather expensive from the few vendors who sell em...like around $40, I think. I'll let you know as soon as I work out how to do it. ;) But yeah! No more blowing out attys! I'm very excited about this. PLUS you can determine your own resistance by how you wrap the wire, so can be sr or lr or ultra lr, its all up to you. Cool, huh?

Since last post I've gone on a recon mission. Found some videos of ladies vapin. Damn their dainty. This must be my tire burning problem! I just can't get this dainty thing down. I counted their draw ... It is like an itty bitty quick 2.5 count.

I paid very close attention to how I'm vaping my Mango Mint Julep. Embarassing!!!!
I do not let go of that button. I'm drawing in and inhaling, finger stays on button - lips stay on drip tip, vape is coming out my nose and the sides of drip tip while I'm heading right into my next draw. Oh yeah, just call me the dragon lady.

Apparently Mango Mint Julep does not mind my technique.

Hi Larkfour (or should I say Dragon Lady),
I think I'll agree w/ Serenity, maybe your juice is a bit thick for your current (like a chain smoking truck driver) vaping technique. JK :)
But seriously, maybe a couple drops of everclear or vodka or distilled water will help it pull the juice through the wick better. I dunno for sure, though. I tried the CE2's and don't like them 'cuz of the same problem.

Glad you've made it this far, BTW!

I received my first VV order over the weekend and OMG! I can't put the Blackberry Vanilla Swirl down. It tastes and smells so good that my roommate who normally is very sensitive/picky to smells and perfumes asked if Annette could bottle a 0 nic version of it into a Glade plugin. Can you imagine, clouds of vapor billowing out from the plugin in the wall... LOL

So far, I've tried about half of the order now and my 2nd favorite is the Maple french toast followed by the illegal juice. I also got some of the Bud Sapphires and filled one with KCM and the other with Hynotic Mist from FSUSA. It works really well, lots of vapor, good clean taste. I've noticed after a couple of days that the juices do get a little darker in it and I think it's because it runs really hot. But no leaking or burning so far and I really enjoy not having to refill the carto several times a day. Don't get me wrong, I love my Boges but I'm always topping them off because I'm paranoid that I will let them run dry and burn. So after reading thru a ton of posts and reviews on ECF I decided to order a couple of carto tanks. I really would like a Lavatank but couldn't wait to try to get one during the next sale date so I ordered a couple of J-tanks. Can't wait to get them so I can fill them with Annette's juices! Also need to place another order before Annette goes on vacation...

Hi guys! So glad you loved your first order, Buckerbie!!! That flavor is awesome, isn't it?

Larkfour... Its not at all unusual to take an 8 or 10ct vape in vaping. If that's burning you up, that's NOT a good thing. rofl The whole idea is to take lite (not sucking like a maniac) draws for a long time to get the best performance. Maybe try to lighten the 'strength' of your draws, but draw them out? I don't know who was doing those dainty puffs, but you should be able to draw for a good 5-10 seconds without any probs (barring ce2 issues). As a matter of fact, i just read the other day that everyone was up in arms with some new model that had come out and had a cut off after 8 seconds, because that's not long enough! lol

And everyone... remember the other day when we were talking about ways to 'mark' flavors on our cartos? Talking about driptips and other options? I mentioned those colored carto caps, but couldn't remember where to get them? Here they are...a friend tracked em down for me. And they're on sale for $.50 cents for a 5 pack. Biggest drawback I see to these is there's only 5 colors. Now if they made 30 colors...then I'd be in business! lol I vape a bunch of flavors. ;)
Color Coded End Caps

Also, the other day I grabbed a pack of teacher stickers in little colored dots 3/8 of an inch across. Thinking those might work to go on top round part of carto, and at least room enough to put initials of flavor, or a number or something (put 1 on carto, corresponding 1 on bottle, etc etc). Those only came in about 8 colors, though. But was only $4 for about 1100 stickers, so I'll let you guys know if they actually stick to carto plastic when they show up. ;)

Night everyone! I could use some crossed fingers if anyone's up to it. I have a rather scary doc appt tomorrow and I'm like a 5 yr old going to the dentist. Digging in heels and wailing like a toddler sounds good to me right now! lol
