Good morning VVers! We're warming up here - its already 10 degrees this morning and should get a little above freezing this afternoon. It has been so cold that lots of folks are having problems with breaking pipes, including me. Here's hoping we will come out of the deep freeze sometime by summer!
Not meaning to gloat, but our 40s would probably feel like a heat wave to you, w4c. I miss the snow from up north but I don't miss freezing pipes, although I did have that happen once here, years ago...TOTAL PITA!
I know mentioning some things in a Vendor's forum is a no-no but this is important. Please forgive me.
If you have an SLB Vapros V1, stop using it and read the safety advisory at the top of the page.

Bizarre weather! I'm riding my bike around up here and pipes are freezing in Nevada......hopefully just water pipes and not....you know.
It seems my fix for the computer battery is spotty. I couldn't get it to turn on for ages which is annoying because my work is on it. I'm going to have to order a new batt. Aarrrgh!

My weekend will be filled with laundry and the sound of a dryer running. My landlord finally came through with a new dryer yesterday after 16 months of being without one!! I am still in shock!
